"The 1080p 8 camera system was great from this company. It included high quality camera's with long range infrared and the software is really great. The system that I picked up had a great price ($335 at the time) but when I went to help others get a similar system I see they have raised their price by almost 75% putting them their product against higher cost better quality equipment. I would have given 5 stars on cost if they had not increased the prices by this large amount."

"Does it all, but most of all, works and it is reliable. It works like a charm, once i installed and tested it never failed. I had an issue finding the management software for Mac but i emailed the customer care and they helped me. I would refer Lorex to anyone asking me. Good job, keep it up

"Works great. Instructions was pretty good and it wasn't too hard to install the wireless cameras and the video recorder. I got this for my wife as one of her Christmas present as she is worried about security. She really liked it especially being able to view the video cameras on her iPhone and iPad. It does feel safer as we can see what is going on outside even in the dark and it continuously records so if something is going on outside our house it will record it so we can check it out later."
"Overall, nvr/cameras work as expected. Easy physical connections. Confusing configs. Loud fan. Easy playback access. Requires mouse for full menu operation. Remotely connecting to the NVR via a pc software would give the best experience for navigating, viewing and setting up the cameras. Although some settings are only configurable on the NVR itself."

"I have had my Lorex camera system for three month now and I simply love it. The hard drive was and recording software was easy to set up and fairly easy to use as well. The cameras have great resolution and have worked in 10 degree Fahrenheit weather throughout the winter. The motion detection works well and the zones are easy to set. The phone app bypasses the need to set up port forwarding (by far the most frustrating part of setting up a camera system in my opinion) which is always a plus. Everything has worked well so far, and I have no real complaints. I would (and have) recommend these cameras, and I plan to buy more."

These cameras are built well and I would rate the knowledge factor to install and use at the moderate level. "This HD 1080p POE four camera system is the best for my home security and safety. Very easy install and running great. The pictures are clear and night vision is good. I tried the wireless 4 camera systems but the pictures were not as clear as this 1080p. I've ownd a Lorex security system for several years now and have updated a few cameras from time to time, and it has paid for itself again and again as we have a neighbour how thinks he can do as he pleases, we just bought 2 newer cameras more for the night vision capabilities, there good for 100 feet in total darkness, just what the doctor ordered, so far were very happy and when we're away from home I can log in remotely with my smart phone just to make sure everything is ok, highly recommend Lorex, service techs know there stuff also"
