"I agree with those below. Terrible customer service EVER. I purchased a dress thru them from FusionCouture and it never arrived. I contacted FusionCouture and they tell me it is on its way. I ordered the dress on July 3rd for a birthday present and it is now Aug 21. The birthday is long past and I complained to LivingSocial and was told that it was still being processed. FusionCouture hasn't replied to my latest email. I too requested a refund from LivingSocial and was ignored. Stupid me not to see that Fusion Couture doesn't have a phone number or address, so all you can do is send emails, which they ignore. Save your money, time and the headaches and avoid them both!!"

"LivingSocial is a scam site. I bought the iKeyCharger voucher, they never said I also had to pay iKeyCharger again, so I paid $6 to LivingSocial and then $4.99 to iKeyCargher that never shipped the item, never returns emails and LivingSocial does not care. So avoid both companies, it's all a big scam. Luckily I used PayPal and have openned disputes, not a lot of money but certainly an annoyance and certainly taught me a lesson never to trust LivingSocial. Imagine if I bought something expensive, ouch. "

"the worse customer service EVER. I purchased a necklace thru them (for Fusion Couture) and it never arrived. I contacted both places after 4 weeks and was told that it was still being processed. FusionCouture never replied. At two months I requested a refund from LivingSocial and was laughed at. Oh well, it's passed the 30 day refund period, I'll have to take it up with Fusion. Well, Fusion's customer service is even worse. Avoid both of these vendors like the plague!!"

"Absolutely ridiculous. I purchased $75 deal for a haircut and color. After numerous attempts to schedule an appointment at the participating salon (who never responded to my phone calls) I contacted Living Social to file a complaint and request a refund. They stated they had never had any complaints about this Salon, and would contact them. They called me back the next day stating they had no trouble reaching the Salon. So I again attempted to call the Salon, no answer or return call. So I again contact Living Social to get a refund, and now they state they will not refund me because it is now out of their policy period. I am furious and am telling everyone I know about them, save your $ and never buy from Living Social!"

"These people do not stand behind their product!!! I bought a voucher for a 4 night stay at the Hibiscus Resort in St Croix and when we got there, the hotel was not up to par. The room wasn't clean, had old furniture, the bathroom WAS TOTALLY DISGUSTING,the beach front was filled with piles of old seaweed and a dog that ran around in the restaurant (sorry dog lovers, but not in a public eatery). These people will not refund me nor give me a credit. I am contacting the BBB and blasting them on twitter. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!"

"AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! I purchased a living social voucher for a local nail salon. The salon refused to honor it! When I complain to Living Social and ask for a refund, I'm told they don't do that. They were completely unhelpful and washed their hands of me as soon as they took my money. There is no accountablity and these companies can choose to honor the vouchers or not. I was told that it wasn't their problem and feel free to gift it to a friend if I no longer want it. I wouldn't "gift" this horrible, infuriating experience to anyone!"

"Do not order any goods from them! Unless you are willing to wait 12-14 BUSINESS DAYS for them to prepare your order for shipping. I have not been able to find that info in any fine print. I called them and even though I ordered something 11 days ago, it has only been 8 business days since I placed my order and I have another 5 days to wait before they are required to ship it.
Their "help" email support did not give me an option to ask about this order so I had to add notes about my problem. The rep did not read my note and referred me to a retailer regarding a different order. I then had to call LS and was transferred (because the customer service dept does not handle these types of orders) and after a while, I spoke with someone who told me that they have 12-14 business days to ship their orders. Never again.

"Ordered "goods" through this site. Only received half of my order so I emailed LS to follow-up. They made me wait over a week with repeated emails that they were checking into it for me. Than send me an email saying that I should follow-up with the company. This is absurd. I didn't order through a different company. I ordered through LS and they are the ones who took my money. And so far I am paying twice the cost of what I have received! I ran into a similar issue with a Groupon order a few months ago. Groupon asked that I wait for the deal to close, than when I still didn't get the missing part of the order promptly refunded my money. Absolutely no runaround. I know who I will- and WON'T- be dealing with in the future."

"Livingsocial sold me a voucher for snapfish, snapfish ate it up before I could buy anything (apparently because I cleared my shopping cart to start over), then both snapfish and livingsocial pointed fingers at each other. Had to go to the credit card company to get my money back."

"They are a bunch of crooks and will do anything to try and get out of giving a refund! I booked a beauty treatment and the supplier had booked it in for an hour later than I had booked it for. It was the last day of the offer and we agreed between ourselves that I would not receive the treatment and the supplier would ask Living Social to refund me. They did this right away and when I spoke to Living Social about it they denied the supplier had contacted them and asked me to prove it! I contacted the supplier and she spoke to them again and asked them to give me a full refund. The outcome was (after various very heated phone calls and several emails) that Living Social refused point blank to refund me as the offer had expired!! Their customer service is absolute rubbish and I would recommend that people go to other discount sites such as KGB, Groupon and Wowcher - all of whom have excellent customer service and would all have given a refund where a merchant cannot honour an offer."

"I purchased a coupon for a massage thru LivingSocial May, 2012 with an expiration date of 2/13/13. I called the service provider the week prior to the expiration. I was told she wasn't taking anymore appts for that coupon but was extending it (for a month thru Mar and then thru April) and would put me on a waiting list. 3 months later she has never called me with an opening. I called her a number of times but she would never book me out into the future. I sent the details to Living Social but they will not refund my money even after providing me a letter where they had told the owner she should honor the promotional value.

Much better customer service from Groupon, SuperDeal, AmazonLocal and PoshBirmingham. I will not do busines with Living Social again. $35 down the drain.

"People do not waste your time buying anything from this company. I purchase a voucher to have my carpet cleaned by a company by the name of Dirty Floors in Prembine Pines, FL. The company cancelled and did 2 no shows. I reached out to Living Social. They refused to give me a refund becasue it was outisde the 7 days. Mind u I have tried to resolve this issue with this company called Dirty Floors in Prembine Pines, FL. The owner name is David Wray. If you have recently purchased a voucher to clean you floors from this company good luck getting them to show up. In addition, Living Social call center John Paul has forced me to use my $35.00 on Deal Bucks or gift it. People when you work for something you shouldn't be forced to use your hard earn money on something else. I will not ever do business with this company. THEY ARE ONLY OUT TO MAKE MONEY AND NOTHING ESLE."
