"Worst online experience. Advertised luggage on clearance. A week passed and no communication. Wrote an email, and finally got a response that looked like it was typed on a cell phone. Was told that the item would be shipped from factory, then told factory was closed, then told item was no longer available from manufacturer. This was a lie as the same luggage was ordered from another company and shipped from the manufacturer the next day. Stay away from Linens and Things"

"Ordered 7 different things from 4 different online stores on 12/12/11. Everything has already arrived except for the Linens N Things item, which hasn't even shipped yet. Like the previous two reviews, I can't get a hold of customer support to find out what the deal is. Called and left message 2 days ago, and emailed them yesterday, but no response yet. Would at least like to know what is going on so that I can cancel and order from another company that can deliver on time. I'm stuck in limbo right now since even if I do decide to cancel my order I can't get through to Linens. "

"I am waiting to even see if my order WILL ship? I have tried numerous times to email customer service and have called leaving VM and no one gets back to me. At this point I want my order to be cancelled because I am extremely disappointed with the service. On top of all of this I ordered a LNT charged me for the lamp that I ordered for $260 and so far I have no lamp and no money refunded and no one has even attempted to contact me regarding this. Absurd."

"They don't answer phone calls, item still "pending", I want my money back! All the reviews on here are obviously posted by LNT. The 5/5 are all posted near the same date and those people all have 1 review. Total scam. I want my money!"

"RIP OFF COMPANY I ordered a set of dishes (showed in stock online) on Aug. 29, 2011 they took the money from paypal....week later they cancelled the order saying it was out of stock. Refunded the money. Ordered a different set of dishes (showed in stock) on sept. 4, 2011...they took the money again from paypal now on sept. 20, 2011 they said dishes are out of stock and have cancelled my order but haven't refunded money yet. this company seems like a real scam...taking your money and using it and you get nothing."

"I was not happy. The dresser I ordered had a particle board back, and it was almnost completely unattached. When I contacted Linens 'n Things, they told me it was my responsibility to pay to return it, despite the fact that the thing was defective and obviously nowhere near worth what I had paid for it. I notified them over a week ago, and am still waiting for the additionsl return instructions they had promised me. Would not order from them again."

"My experience with Linens 'n Things was very good. The product arrived before I had expected and it was exactly as it appeared on the site. The only thing that would have made it better was if there were some sort of tracking number so I could see where my item was and exactly when it was going to be delivered. I would definitely shop with them again!"

"worst experience ever!!!! i ordered 3 fans they sentme one. i called was told the other 2 would be shipped and a week later i called back and asked where my fans were i was told they would be shipped so i said since im waiting 3 weeks already and you guys lied to me i want some sort of discount. i was told no so i asked to speak to a manager and was denied. i called back about 10 times and the same customer service rep kept answering and telling me theres no manager. i called sales and got the same woman who again told me the same lie that there was no supervisor. later i get an email from a so called manager who tells me there was an error in the listing on the site and because of that they do not have to fulfill my order. i argued and said i wanted a discount to which i was denied. after about a month they sent the fans (which i no longer needed or wanted) and clearly printed on the box it said quantity 3 so obviously there wasent an error in the listing they just decided to change the listing. they wouldnt give me a discount or a refund ... they lied to paypal when i made a claim. i hate this company and woudlnt recommend it to anyone. your best bet is to steer clear of this horrible online store. "

"The bedding that I purchased was a great buy and I received it is record time. It really looks great in the bed room I purchased it for and the completeness of what was included is incredible. You always wonder what you are getting from a mail order but this item was more that I expected and the fit and quality are great. I would definitely ourchase again from Linens 'n Things"

"Great. Everything that I ordered arrived on time and in good condition and was the quality I have learned to expect from Linen's and Things. My only regret is that you no longer have stores where I can go and purchase items that I need, especially now that my daughter is starting college. I was very spoiled with the assortment of goods that I used to be able to see and purchase at your stores when I bought items for my son's college days. Bed Bath and Beyond does not compare to your offerings at the time or even now."

"I knew about LNT when there were real stores with that name on the door, although I admit I may have visited one while accompanying a female acquaintance. I now have three fish tanks, for a hobby, and recently, for unexplained reasons, my local pet stores with fish stopped carrying an excellent food for my topfeeders, Tetra BettaMin Flakes. I found LNT as a source on the Internet for this product, and I have been properly surprised, under the THINGS heading on the LNT website, of the variety of products offered for "fish freaks" like me. Shopping is easy and efficient on the website, delivery is very prompt, and I will continue to be a customer as long as LNT keeps offering stuff I can'f find elsewhere."
