"In the middle of the recent heatwaves, our AC broke! It was a relatively new system also, just 5 years old. We were definitely anxious when it started. We called Liberty and right from that initial conversation felt better. They were calm, thoroughly informed, and seemed to get the process going right away. The next day an AC repairman came by to check out the issue. Unfortunately we had a compressor that was short to ground but the repairman came back the next day and was able to fix the AC system. "Thanks to Liberty Home Guard's comprehensive coverage, I didn't have to stress about my ac system when it began malfunctioning. It actually started when my regular HVAC technician who I use came to inspect and do routine maintenance on my unit. He discerened that I had a few significantly sized leaks in my coil and because my unit was over 20 years old, he recommended I replaced it. Because I’ve been working with him for years, I got a quote which was about $25,000 for a full system replacement. It was at that point I decided to call Liberty Home Guard who I had a home warranty with for about a month at that point. I spoke with a very knowledgeable rep, I believe they were a supervisor, named Ashley. She said she’d initiate the process and get back to me within two days with an update. Two hours later she followed up and my quote for the replacement through Liberty was $18,500. I was shocked. Now I did not now how well their technician would do in replacing the unit but for that rate I had to use their technician and save the money. Fortunately, their technician did a great job, was professional and the savings were all real. There was no hidden agenda or fees. So far to date, I’ve spent $800 on my warranty plan and another $125 on my deductible for this claim. I’ve saved $6,500 after having the policy for one month (net I’ve saved $5,575). The product's value to homeowners is resounding in my book. After my second claim, if it goes well, I plan to upgrade my policy to a five year term.

I’ve had home warranty plans with various companies, and the quality of Liberty Home Guard’s service providers are really beyond compare with the rest. They also offer generous refund terms if you don’t like the product so I recommend people try Liberty out versus other home warranty companies because I believe the quality is there and the downside is minimal. The first claim was for this Whirlpool Refrigerator we got that started leaking and the second was for another leak but this time in my dishwasher. Both fixes took no more than 4 days to get done.
