Amazing customer service!

"We ordered a Gh6, a 25-50 & 10-25 Leica DG Lens. The lenses worked exceptionally well and were perfect for our purposes. They arrived a day before they were scheduled and everything came in a nice Pelican Style case all perfectly packaged and protected. They make it very easy to return your items once you are done by providing the return label, tape, and reusing the box it came in. We mistakenly forgot to pack the charger for the battery that came with GH6 back into the return, but customer service contacted us and was very cooperative and kind, giving us another return label to print out and ship back the forgotten items. "

Incredible Customer Service

"I ordered a camera for a shoot, it wasn't holding charge very well and created a bit of an inconvenience because I kept having to stop and recharge the camera. I reached out to customer service and they let me know they would look into the issue once they received the camera back. They promptly let me know that there was an issue with the battery, and offered to refund me for the inconvenience. Great customer service, prompt responses, and great company. Highly recommend!!"

Worst experience EVER

"Just had absolutely the worst experience with an internet company I have ever experienced. After placing rental they cancelled the order 3 times saying they couldn't verify the information after I had sent everything they needed. Finally got them to confirm an order only to have it cancelled to due billing address. Then after switching to my card they still wouldn't confirm the order saying they needed more money as a deposit. I am not sure if this company is a scam or not I would stay away from them.

The Best Customer Experience

"Needed a Fuji tele zoom for an upcoming important shoot. Naturally FedEx screwed up and my shipment was delayed. Contacted customer service and they jumped through hoops to overnight me a second replacement lens. They just make things happen with personal service and excellent products for rent. Can't recommend them enough."

I rented a Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens

"This experience has made me dedicated Customer. I didn't expect the quality of the Lens I received. It was as if they sent me a new Lens! Everything was explained, the insurance, the return shipping. The Lens was packed professionally. I knew exactly when I was to return ship the Lens. Im looking forward to trying another Lens very soon! I own two lenses for my Sony Mirrorless Camera, but with Lensrentals.com, it's as if I own all the Lenses Sony makes. LensRentals has really increased the types of Photography I can experiment in. I could not take quality Lunar images until I got my hands on the 200 to 600 zoom. Next, I may try the 90mm Macro lens. I love LensRentals.com! I love the way they include instructions with the return shipping label, even the tape to reseal the shipping Box was included. I called with a question and got a real live sweet Lady to clear up my question. Top notch Company! Pay these People a visit, you wont regret it. These are "good People".

Probably the best customer service I have ever experienced

"TL;DR run-on sentence: LensRentals provide customer with empathetic, quick-reacting, and in-sync customer service over a course of a long email thread involving a plethora of customer service representatives.

Fed ex crapped on their word; they didn't get my order on time- at all. I even called them and they said i can pick up my Camera/Lens Rental from their distribution center- which turned out to be a lie. Regardless, previously, I reached out to LensRentals' customer service about a question not related to the Fed Ex debacle; even though I dealt with multiple Customer service associates within one long email thread, it legitimately felt like they were all in-sync, so that when it came time to chat about fed ex and their crap service- they were on the ball. They sorted everything out on their end, extended my rental free of charge, and most importantly did it all with an empathetic tone. Simply wonderful service- Jon, Jess, Lisa, Liz (if those are your real names)

Grade A Customer Service & Selection

"I’ve used Lens Rentals a few times now. First off their selection of gear is top notch. As a Panasonic S1 user, finding native L Mount lenses to rent is not easy. But they have the full lineup at what I’ve found to be the best prices.

Now for customer service. First off I placed an order and had to cancel it at the last minute as our client cancelled the shoot. I got no flak from them, no fee’s, nothing. Fast forward to my last two rentals and on both orders I made mistakes. First one I left a small
Piece out of my return order, they notified me, I shipped it back, no fee, no problem. Love it.

Second, I had a production in another state that was off and on for just under 2 weeks. I left my return boxes back home and went to my shoot. It ended up getting extended a day and which meant my return would be a day late. Again no issue on Lens Rentals side. They were understanding and were okay with me returning my gear a day late. Love it. Definitely not something that should be abused, but in a pinch that helped me out a lot.

Their packing of the orders is great, they make return shipping very easy, they even include the correct amount of tape and then some to ship it back.

I’ve used a number of other rental houses, and I’ve found the one that works best for me. As a professional photographer they meet my needs and treat me as a human, understanding that mistakes happen. Doesn’t get better than that.

If I could make one suggestion, it would be to include a manifest of every piece that needs to be returned. That way as I repack the gear I can check off the list. I know I could look online and as I type this I realize it may not be the best use of paper. But I’ll leave it here for them to consider and maybe come up with a batter option.

Update: 02/10/21. I had another order that I was a day late returning. I came down with some food poisoning and wasn't able to make the drop off. They were once again understanding and didn't give me any hassle. Thanks Mae for all your help. you guys are the best!

TLDR: Lens Rentals is the best rental house I’ve used as a professional photographer. Selection of gear, customer service, and ease of returning is what did it for me.

They really came in clutch!

"So last week I ordered a camera and lens from this company and they shipped it with one day shipping; however, FedEx dropped the ball and I ended up waiting 5 days for it to come in. I called the number and Connor was super helpful in getting me hooked up with a rental that not only came in overnight, but also was ready within an hour of my shoot! They were also willing to extend the rental for my troubles. Highly recommend!"

Top notch service and system

"Everything about this company is top notch. The equipment is in great shape. The packaging is excellent and the return packaging, return shipment tag, and even packing tape is included.

When I placed my order, they called me to make sure that I ordered everything I needed (not just a sales ploy; they had some technical questions about why I had/hadn't ordered some items) and it turned out that I had forgotten a couple of small items; that saved me a couple of days of lost time.

I had some questions on the weekend, and even though they are closed, they answered my emailed questions within a few hours.

They give you a manifest to check off your items as you pack them for return, so that (on my fairly large order), I didn't forget anything (e.g., a small user manual that I would have forgotten had it not been for the checklist). All the equipment and accessories have a little barcode on them, so you can scan them with your phone and get the serial number to check off against the manifest.

They have thought about everything. LensRentals is a great example of how every company should be run!

Excellent service and products

"First, the whole ordering process was fast and seamless Just about anything your heart desires is available not just to rent (with customizable rental duration length) but they give you a buy option if you decide you want to at a reasonable price for excellent used gear.
Second, secure secure secure. When they saw a slight discrepancy in my order (payment method/address) they called me to confirm my information before billing and sending the gear. Huge plus!!
Third, fast delivery! They shipped the same day I ordered and it came a day earlier than expected. (Time of day ordered might have played a role in this, so individual experience may vary...just my experience)
When it arrived I was surprised at the lengths they go to protect the gear from damage. Not only was it nicely wrapped in an unmarked cardboard box (with return shipping label and cheat sheet for the camera) there was also a sturdy plastic carry case and a Lowpro camera bag perfectly sized for the body and lens (Canon 80D and 18-135 IS STM - highly recommended kit btw). The lens also had it's own case! I highly recommend LensRentals for all your photography needs.
