"I purchased two lamps and received them in good condition in a timely delivery. I would recommend them. But the instructions to assemble weren't efficient. It took me double the amount to assemble the first one than it did the second one after I discovered the real way to put together. The secret is to put all the rods together pulling the wiring thru as you put it together. After all rods are together and all the wiring has been pulled thru, then and only then do you attach the long rod to the base of the lamp. but great lamp."
"Purchased two lampshades and a chandelier, total purchase price over $300. Lampshades were too big and I wanted to return them, there are no return instructions included in packaging so I emailed (****@****) a day after receiving my order to request a return authorization with instructions and no one replied.
FIVE days later I reached out again and was finally given the rma. RETURN shipping is responsibility of the buyer, since it was a box within a box and instructions are very strict that you must return in original packaging, it cost me $39 via usps. I've been tracking the package via my usps receipt and it was delivered, yet no acknowledgment from Lamps Plus. I just checked my cc for the return credit and it's short by $14.99 since I applied a discount at time of purchase to the TOTAL ORDER, never mind the chandelier that I kept was twice as expensive as the lampshades.
This is definitely my first and last transaction with Lamps Plus.

"The lamp shades are good quality, however, returning an item that doesn't work is ridiculously high cost. LampsUSA requires you to pay their original shipping cost plus you pay for return shipping, they charge a 25% restocking fee for a number of reasons, including if you write directly on the shipping box. The cost of returning the item would be almost as much or more than the item. For this reason, I will NEVER order from this company again."

Every single detail related to my order was done on time and accurately. I ordered 3 lamps - all three arrived in immaculate condition. Shipping was fast - via FedEx.
They provided a tracking number and my items arrived on time as promised. Lamps USA's customer service - its really above average; these people aren't required to go the extra mile but they do anyway. I sent a few emails with questions about specific items and timing / availability; do you know every question was answered quickly? I'm very satisfied with the way I was treated.

The company representative, whose name was Denise, told me that the image on the website is with the light on that makes all the difference. She didn't care to explain why the shape of the shade they sent to me was different from the one on the website. Sending it back was on my expense. I will never buy from this company again. "
