Loose lips sink ships

"While I'm basically satisfied with all my other orders, one ceiling fixture I received had a broken clip when opening the package, a clip that was vital to hold the fancy glass dome in place.
Rather than returning the entire piece because I was trying to meet a deadline, I called for a replacement clip that I thought could install myself.
The rep I spoke with advised, after speaking to a "supervisor", said she was not allowed to send me a replacement clip.
I advised her that if LAMPS.COM had such poor public relations to charge a customer for an item that was poorly packed in the first place and then had the gall to charge, would lose my business, period!
Sadly, after I spent time and money to fix the broken item, the replacement clip came in the a day later anyway. Sorry, damage was done and, wouldn't it have been nice for the young lady to be able to offer it and feel good about being able to help someone, rather than experiencing the hassle that ensued.

DECEPTION

"The system process my order even though the product was not n inventory. Althought they gave me the option to cancel the order I decided to maintain it. The problem was that they charged my credit account immediately. The waiting period for the purchase was long and uncertain. So two weeks later I decided cancelled the order. They immediately credited my account."

"It took them three weeks to ship. They were ok about keeping me informed though. The lamps were as ordered but they shipped the wrong bulbs. I called them and they agreed to replace the bulbs with no hassle but we haven't received them yet "

Easy to order, service for replacements was good, but tuff to get refund....

"We ordered two vanity lights, a four light fixture and a two light fixture for over my wife's makeup area, for our master bathroom that were listed shown on thier website and after ordering and receiving a confirmation we received an email saying the larger effort light we ordered and paid for had been discontinued. The smaller light had been shipped and they were issuing a refund for the larger light. So we found another pair and ordered and they sent a return label and we shipped the smaller light back. It's been a month and no refund for the larger light and it's been about 3 weeks since the smaller one was returned and no refund. We like the lights but beginning to wonder about the service of issuing refunds... If we can get our money back we wanted to order more lights to replace our outdated outside lights... "
