"The ratio of teacher to student was too high (see question 37). I also asked what happens is someone calls in sick. I was told they just cover for each other. In a place with too few people as it is, this does not see safe. I would never enroll my children here."

After many incidents in which my child is unattended, but and slapped by other older kids, neglected by the many teachers around, poor eating habits, poor professional conduct by the director and some fill in staff, I am appalled that these people are allowed to care for kids. With the exception of the daily teachers, who are great, the rest of the experience needs major improvement. How are you able to keep doors open? You have people who do not accept feedback, do not want to improve, have poor attitudes, constantly making things uncomfortable and constantly make excuses for issues rather than watching their camera where issues and concerns are plain in your face! My kid is always sick, or has a disgusting diaper rash, is dirty all over face and clothes, and has to have a director watch over that doesn’t give a crap about the kids or parents. Please have someone outside the facility with authority call me."

"the staff here is great, truly take an interest in my son, I have had two sons in this facility going back to 2006, I had concerns with the staff before the current one, they just did not seem to really care about my son and it was apparent, now with Miss Terry I am completely satisfied again with the staff, they genuinely care from my son, and it shows, I recommend the school to anyone that will listen now. "We like the feeling of security, and that is what led us to choose this school along with hours available. La Petite started off as the second choice to the pleasanton school system. I was going to try and help present the the pleasanton school board to make some changes in hours. But the security issue trumped everything for my wife. Location to our home was also fantastic. We love the teachers who are very caring towards Sophie. There have been many great, caring, caretakers and my wife and I meet different teachers. I usually see Nancy, Terri, Samira, Gorky?(sp) who all seem really great with Sophie and just nice people that make me more comfortable leaving Sophie with. Anita is usually very cheery as well but in a different room. My wife was very sad to see one caretaker leave to florida, but i had never met her to my knowledge."

"Again, see above. LP Pleasanton has gone downhill compared to 4 years ago. This Director has no personality and is visibly lazy. The only thing that would make me stay is if you hired Sierra back and stifled staff turn over. It is worrisome to see so much turn over and obvious teacher unhappiness"
