"The teachers that our children have had at LaPetite have been excellent (for the most part). It is really frustrating to have so many staff changes in the last year though from what seems to be a change in the management staff. The director came in about a year ago and since then we've also had 2 assistant directors. Before that, our director and assistant director had been there ~20 years each."

"Unfortunately the overall experience has deteriorated since major staff changes in the past 12 months. We realize it is not easy staffing teachers and leaders, but the frequency of turnover is unsettling."

"Colleen and Michelle in the infant room are fantastic! My son lights up when he see's them and that makes me feel good and reassures me that he has good interactions with them. I feel safe leaving him there and they are great at communicating to me how he is doing throughout the day. I love the Bright Wheel application. It is nice to get updates throughout the day and pictures!! I would recommend this classroom to family and friends."

Despite consistent turnover of staff and a recent change in leadership, we still feel our children are able to count on a consistent experience and they have provided our children, and us as parents, with exceptional preparation for Kindergarten and beyond. "Entering the building always welcomes me with the awful smell of dirty diapers which is very unpleasant.The ever-changing staff or lack there of was very nerve racking. Employees were leaving left and right and then the director even left. That makes parents wonder what's going on with the business.I understand tuition increases, but with no official notice? It's been a couple months since the increase with no notice other than the director explaining to me why I had a small balance on my account.I really enjoy my son's 4k teachers as he's really shown great growth!We did start looking for other daycare/4k providers, but the change was too detrimental to our child's social and emotional well being."

"When we first arrived and Marianne was the director, things ran very smoothly. No that there is a new director Shiela, things seem to have gone downhill. It is chaotic day after day when we arrive. My child missed the bus and they never called us when she did not arrive at day care- concerning! The children are no longer allowed to bring any items from home (not even a coloring book), this is hard for the older children that like to have items that they can do quietly while the younger ones play. They were allowed in the past, and they changed up the schedule of outside playtime causing grief for those children that have trouble with changes in routines. There are a lot of new faces since Shelia started- Everyday we come we see a different person. Hard on the children with someone that does not know them then. Kayla was the regular afterschool teacher, She was always friendly and could tell you what happened with your child that day. The children like her, she interacts with them well- now it keeps changing, someone different- they do not know who my child is or ask to see if I am even the parent that is supposed to pick up the child- concerning."

"Communication between staff and availability of childcare care instructions for staff needs to be improved. On numerous occasions have had issues with feeding schedules/instructions being followed."
