"You need to work on the whole team. Carrie is wonderful and actively listens and works with family and staff. Nicole and Deanna have their own clique and are ignorant to everyone besides Rachel. And those three are always just sitting and are of no help in the mornings I hate dropping my child off when there is 12 infants and 35 preschoolers with two teachers in each room. It’s insane when carrie is at drop off she’s in the room and she’s making sure ratios are met. There’s no reason for three staff members to be talking in the office amoungst themselves. They don’t acknowledge people walking in and have many times checked both my kids in when only one was there and call me asking where my child is well If you were greeting parents you would have known only one came in"

"The entire staff at La Petite Academy is kind and nurturing! They welcome my son with smiles on their faces and answer all questions I have with being a first time mom. I feel beyond comfortable leaving my son at La Petite two days a week because I know he is being well taken care of, nurtured, and educated."

"We love our current teachers and the infant teachers we had. We had trouble with an infant/Todd teacher but she left quite quickly after the issue and I believe that was a good call. She didn't seem right for the job.Just wishing for more vegetarian & lactose intolerant meals. I have to provide entrees and milk for my child on top of the cost of going there."

"Teachers are great but turn over is high. If your child has a special diet this is not the place to go. There is no organization or procedures in place with how to deal with special diets and children often end up getting things they should not or they get the same exact item every day instead of planning ahead for variety. Also they do not plan ahead to insure that if there’s only one ingredient the child cannot have to take that out and cook separately rather than not give the child the entire main dish. They also need to have Better ways of dealing with children whom are distributive to the classroom. Multiple times I have come in to get my child and I have to find my way around a child screaming loud enough for the whole center to hear kicking and screaming as a parent it worries me that my child may not be safe around this child since it seems to me that they just let that child do and whatever they want. "

"When you clean the floors don't put the bottom of he chairs on the tables - that dirties the tables. Put the seat on the table or wash the tables after you do the floor - the tables are not cleaned for the morning and leaving the chairs on them causes transfer of germs"

They are both extremely caring and it is clearly genuine. I do wish that the Director (Ms. Carrie) was a bit warmer to her staff. She is always very pleasant with parents, but I understand that she is not as kind to the teachers. This is a concern to me (as well as the staff turnover) because our children absolutely adore their teachers and it would be deeply disappointing for them to leave for a better opportunity. I sincerely hope that they are recognized for their work and treated with dignity and respect, so that they continue to bring love and positive energy to their classrooms."
