"Our family loves this school! Ms Gina and Ms Keesha have truly helped our son transition into the twos room. They are kind and loving and very patient. Our son loves them and wants to go to school even on the weekends. We had concerns about the transition and spoke with the director. Ms Joy eased our fears and never has made us feel like a bother even though we communicate often. Ms Joy even answers our emails on weekends and that means a lot to our family after coming from a center that always made us feel like a nuisance or troublesome parents. I will say that we almost didn't enroll here due to the building looking old and floors are awful but we see the staff cleaning each night when we pick up so we know they are doing their best. We are grateful to the staff and to Ms Joy for all they do to care for our kids"

"I would advice La Pe***e Academy of Lakeland to highly consider a quality initiative to improve the overall cleanliness of child care areas, especially the hand wash station and infant care areas. It may also be in the best interest for health and safety that visitors remove shoes prior to entering infant rooms. Providing hand wash agents such as hand sanitizer for visitors at the entrance is also something to consider. Regular cleaning of flooring and walls and child activity areas is imperitive where infant children roam to provide a clean and safe environment, too. Children with signs and symptoms of illness should not be permitted to attend childcare, as to prevent the spread of illness(es). With regard to curriculum, there was no evidence of any particular information that would set this academy apart from other 'regular' day cares, nor to a higher standard of quality."
