Terrible service

"I wouldn’t Evan give them a star. I placed an order on line Dec 26. Received confirmation the order had been delivered. I had not received the order and I noticed in confirmation order was delivered to a differant zip code. I called Kohl’s ***-***-**** spoke to a Kendra. Worse service she told me to contact ups and have them delivered it to my address. We went back and fourth I asked to verify my address on file, she stated she couldn’t, I should know the address on file. She stated there’s nothing she can do. I’m furious. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT KHOLS AGAIN!
I had to call my bank and dispute the charge of 82.50

Six pack of socks-I mean tape

"A 6-pk of Nike socks arrived that had the torn band taped all the way around, with much of the tape sticking to the fabric. The paper band was opened in several places, leaving a rugged edged mess. t's 8 pm, Dec. 23. I have no choice except give this mess to a little boy who probably won't notice the broken band and a half roll of packing tape. I will make sure the adults in the room know where they were purchased! "

Poor Customer service

"I am very disappointed with Kohls.com and Kohls.com customer service. I had made an order on Kohl’s.com on cyber Monday—Half of the order was shipped to me, the other was shipped out of state to an old address. I had called customer service for Kohl’s.com and they refused to assist me. They also blamed me for selecting the wrong address. I explained that I had changed the shipping address along with the billing address and that the billing address was accepted, because there was no issue with the payment. I shared my thoughts that maybe there is a glitch in the system. I escalated the call to management once I noticed the representative was not willing to assist me. Management also refused to acknowledge the error on their end but said they would open up a ticket and advised me that this would not resolve the issue on their end either. I then attempted to escalate the call to an Area Director or another manager above the one I was speaking to. They told me their manager was out of the office that day, and that they would be the one that was in charge and would be responsible for addressing the issue.

My last attempt to resolve the problem was to speak to someone at headquarters. The manager then suggested that he walk me through the website to find the number. I reminded him that I had already spent too much time on the phone with Kohl’s and now you want me to get on a computer and search for a number when you could just provide me with the number? Which he later did, after he walked me through the steps of finding the number.

I called headquarters last week and still have not received a return call from them. I have also reached out to BBB and also left a few reviews and will continue to write more and share my experience with everyone.

I shared this experience with all of my colleagues and one told me she had a similar experience this week with Target. There was a huge difference with how they resolved the issue. They offered to accommodate her by re-shipping the order—this was their offer and not something she had requested. Now that is customer service!

This whole experience is highly disappointing to me, because I really did enjoy shopping at Kohl’s, but because of this incident I will no longer continue to do business with an establishment that refuses to do the right thing for their customers, especially around the holidays.

Beware of these white collar crooks!

"My mother purchased two items at Kohl's for $30.36. Usually, she pays cash, but that day she did not have enough cash and paid with the store credit card. When she received the bill, she sent the payment out by cheque. However, a month later she received another bill from Kohl's saying that she owed $46.36 due to late charges. She went to the Kohl's store in Bellingham, WA to pay her outstanding charges in person on September 30, 2019. Her bank statement showed that the cheque she originally sent had already been cashed in August. They told her she still owed $17.50 for late charges, so she paid it. However, throughout October and November, she has been receiving emails and calls claiming she still owes them money. We called today and they said she 'owed' them $119, even though they acknowledged receipt of the cheque for $30.36 and the payment for $17.50. When I inquired why her account was not cleared after she was told to pay $17.50, the agent replied "I don't know; I just work in collections." However, they said that she signed the original credit card agreement so she was obligated to pay the $119.
Lessons learned? #1) Never, ever shop at Kohl's. #2) Never, ever sign up for any department store credit card. Never. Ever. You'd be better off selling your soul to the devil first!

Creates labels but never actually ships them! MULTIPLE orders.

"Online fulfillment is the worst ever. 15 DAYS to get my first order, and this order has the same issues (two in a row). You have to wait over a week and a half before they do anything about the order NEVER shipping from the warehouse to begin with. Their solution? Take weeks to get your order to you because warehouse staff can't affix a label to a box and actually ship it to you the FIRST time. It literally takes them multiple tries to get a box out of the door! Just stupid.

Kohl’s cash scam

"Their Kohl’s cash is a scam. If you don’t use it by a certain date it expires. I waited to use the Kohl’s cash because I KNEW I WAS GOING TO RETURN THE ITEMS! The Kohl’s cash expired, and $10 was taken from the money they owed me, which is the exact amount of Kohl’s cash I had received for buying the items. But it’s expired, so i can’t use it. If that’s not fraud, I’m not sure what is. I WILL NEVVVER shop there again!"

terrible company

"Terrible service and policies! You have lost a customer for life and I will make sure everyone I know cuts up their Kohl's credit cards. I have been in touch with multiple people in the Kohl's so called customer service department about a $2.10 bill that they sent to creditors. I made multiple attempts to use their app to pay this bill (which was an interest charge that appeared after I had paid my entire bill ON TIME), and even went IN PERSON to the store to attempt to make this payment. They were unable to process this. I finally figured out how to call the automated line and pay this $2.10 cent bill but apparently only AFTER they sent me to creditors. I am attempting to refinance my home and the hit that my credit has taken over the $2.10 bill has made this impossible. No one at Kohl's cares one bit and states that this is their policy to send loyal customers to creditors regardless of the balance of the bill! I went through every step recommended by my financial advisor and after reviewing the issue, Kohl's still maintains that this is standard procedure and NOTHING CAN BE DONE. I refuse to do business with such a horrible company every again!"

Insulting & dishonest

"If I could rate lower I would. Never have I experienced such a gross display of service. I was purchasing 4 pairs of pants. After asking about a sale price "buy 1 get 1 for $1" that was on display I showed the clerk who proceeded to argue that it must belong to other merchandise. The promo card was prominently displayed in many surrounding items of the Dockers shelves, and he said very openly that I need to learn how to read because the digital display was different. I asked for a manager who was standing right there and just got a blank stare. The neighboring cashier found the whole thing funny, laughing and adding insulting commentary. He'd already run into the back of me with push carts which he found hilarious. In no instance was there an apology from anyone. Needless to say I left and will not purchase ANYTHING from ANY kohl's ever again. It's bad enough their merchandising is a total wreck to shop but I don't think anyone deserves to be treated like this!"

"On July 18, 2019 I went to the Kohl’s Store in Waldorf Md to purchase a $100.00 pair of Taylor Grace Earings. I entered the store at 9:00 AM. At 9:30 I was still waiting for a clerk to come to unlock the jewelry so I could purchase them. I left without the earings because no one ever came to assist me. The clerk at the front register called for assistance 3 times and not one store clerk or manager came to help. I took a photo of the earings and came home and ordered them on line. Terrible experience. "

ONLINE ORDERING

"EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I place an online order I get a confirmation of said order and everything looks like it's going through fine. Then, usually a few hours later, without fail, I get an email saying "WE ARE UNABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR ORDER." At first I thought it might have been because I was trying to order their jewelry online, but this past time I was literally only trying to purchase underwear. Still got the same message. Why do they even have online ordering as an option IF THEY NEVER COMPLETE/FULFILL THE ORDERS!?!?!?!?!?! Ridiculous "
