Poor customer service and poor product

"Poor customer service. Poor product.
1. Roman shade bracket is poorly designed, and forces the shade to be 2+ inches from the surface, so blackout shades are not able to block out light enough, and you pay extra for blackout.
2. Cord is behind the shade on the glass side, so you have to reach behind the shade to raise/lower.
3. Calling customer service they just read the ‘script’ and will not work with you unless you’ve purchased their ‘deluxe’ warranty at $30/blind.
4. They will not accept returns, even when you prove their product is inferior
5. I would caution anyone to be leery and do not buy from them. In fact run, run away from this company.

NO WARRANTY ON INFERIOR REPLACEMENTS!

"Originally had a great experience with Just Blinds in 2020.We had an issue with a couple of the blinds in 2022. Just Blinds replaced them as per their warranty. However, the replacement blinds were of a much lower quality than that of the original blinds. Now less than 10 month in and the replacements have broken. Have spoken to several people at Just Blinds and have been told each time there is nothing they can do. They no longer offer the original blinds and this is the new manufacturer. If this is the case, BE WARNED they are low quality, flimsy blinds of poor workmanship. "

Warranty does not cover a replacement

"I bought blinds from Just Blinds for our new home. The original did not last a year and was replaced. The replacement came in and was broke also. I just dealt with it as I didn't really have time to go through the process again. Now that I sent them the picture of the broken blind, they will not replacement it as the original was ordered 3 yrs ago. They claim the warranty only is good from the original purchase, not when you receive a replacement. So if you replace a blind at almost 3 yrs and it doesn't last even a year, you are out of luck. Guess I'll look for a better company that can make a blind to last. "

How Many Times Can You Delay at Order

"This Company is going for the new record. Ordered a simple blind for my home office, they have delayed the shipment of this order 5 times. It is not like they do anything else besides blinds; they should Shutter their business, they are Blind to customer service! Absolutely Pathetic, don't waste your money here!"

Just like their blinds, this company should close.

"Ordered blinds in June 2020. No updates whatsoever. After a month of waiting, I attempted to contact the company through every means necessary and never received an update. I never received the blinds and honestly forgot about them (I order a lot of blinds for rental properties and lost track). In late September I received an email that my blinds were "in production" and would ship in early December. Really??? Four months for an update and then two months to produce two sets of generic mini-blinds?!?

I've worked with many online blind companies and this is the worst experience ever. They don't respond to any communication, don't provide updates, and clearly have no ability to produce the product. Even if the delays are due to COVID, they should just close.

Vague selection instructions, no refund

"The instructions for selecting the kinds of blinds you need are not detailed. My wife and l followed the instructions, picked inside mount blinds, ordered them, and waited. When they arrived, the blinds could not be mounted in our window frames— and this after following all instructions. When we called Justblinds refused to issue a refund.

I will actively discourage friends and family from using Justblinds, and will share this review on as many platforms as possible.

Blind Arrived Damaged; I Have Listened To Hold Music a Total of 18 Hours Over 4 Days; They Do Not Answer The Phone

"Blind Arrived Badly Damaged, so damaged it cannot be installed. I Have Listened To Hold Music a Total of 18 Hours Over 4 Days; They Do Not Answer The Phone. They offer a "faster" solution to message them through Facebook. They also do not answer that! Third way to contact them. They promise if you leave a number, they will call you back. They don't do that either! Looks like the only route for customers get relief is to pursue a credit card chargeback. "

What a way to treat your valued customers

"I ordered five replacement blind slats six weeks ago ! Despite all my enquiries I still have not had my order even though I was told that two weeks ago that they were cut and ready to sew ! I do realise times are difficult but come on this is just five slats ! I have just asked for the third time for a refund I am a pensioner and cannot afford to lose £15 ! I have had to order on e bay where they are half the price and will be here in a week should have looked there before !!!"

Impossible to hang and no help from the company

"Besides waiting over 3 weeks for my blinds & then waiting over an hour to get customer support ( which is enough in my book for 1 star), these blinds they sent will not fit the bracket they sent to hang them. I have hung similar blinds all over my house ( from another company) and NEVER had problem hanging them. Customer service said perhaps the wrong hardware was sent so they [promised to send me a new set of hardware, but never did. They decided I did not know how to hang the blinds and sent pics and videos on how to hang them. Despite me trying over and over with no positive results, they continue to tell me it is my problem & not theirs. They will not refund my money, nor send any kind of meaningful help. Shameful. "

5 weeks and nothing

"In my lifetime I have never had cause to write a review.

5 weeks ago I order replacement slats for my vertical blinds and have not received my order.

I have contacted The company on numerous occasions by email and phone . On one occasion I had a reply to my email to say the slats would be dispatched immediately . After not receiving my order I have called the company on one occasion when they answered they said they would be dispatched the following day . At the time of writing I have not received my order and have asked By email for a refund and have not received a reply.

My recommendation to anyone using this company ( assuming they are still trading ) is to be prepared for poor customer service and the potential of losing your money .

Wrong Size

"This company expects consumers to follow a guide posted on their website: justblinds.com/help/meas…. prior to ordering. I received blinds that were off by .5" I WAS NEVER INFORMED THAT THE WIDTH OF MY BLINDS WOULD DIFFER BY .5". They did not offer a refund. I had to donate the blinds."

inaccurate. bait-and-switch. no refunds. ever.

"ordered some "light filtering" blinds expecting them to let sunlight into the bedroom. blinds arrived ahead of schedule, but are what would be sold by other retailers as "room darkening". There's next to zero light transmission. Rep was kind enough to offer me 20% off ANOTHER ORDER and remind me that i hadn't purchased their BS warranty. THEY ARENT BROKEN, you simply misled a customer to think he was getting something that you are not delivering.

I was also told that i would get a "color coordinated" pull chain. Their idea of coordinated is the brightest white i have ever seen. all my other blinds have brown chains. CSR said they "may" be able to do something about this and would check with the factory but it would depend what color chains they had on hand when they made my blinds. I asked again for a refund and was promptly denied. I will be forcing them to remake these with the correct color chain, and will then probably throw them in the donate bucket. I am also disputing the charges with my credit card company for "product not as advertised". They are taking garbage $2 vinyl roll ups and retailing them for $30. Do yourself a favor. Go to Home Depot, buy something there. At least they accept returns.

"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE> If you voice a concern about the product, they are quick to tell you they will offer a 20% coupon to redo your order. The installation is a nightmare. Buyer beware. "

No instructions on how to release the knotted cord that is so tight it want budge. No instructions on how it goes up and down.

"Awful, customer service does not know how blinds work and want tell me. Not one instruction on what cord to cut to loosen them down. Facebook here I come. I will tell everyone not to order from a Just Blinds. I’ve tried for 3 days to Getz Morgan to help me at customer service, Duh.... she doesn’t know how they work either. She says cut the cord. What damn cord do I cut."

BEWARE!!! WILL NOT PROVIDE CUSTOM RESULTS OR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

"I ordered a blackout roller shade for a window in our home. I placed the order directly with a JustBlinds representative over the phone, giving her the window frame dimensions precisely.

When the "blackout" roller shade arrived, there was a HUGE, nearly 1" gap on both sides of the shade, letting in loads of sunlight, and exposing the double-hung window tracks. The shade looked like it was for the wrong window. The impression it leaves is decidedly like someone wearing pants that are embarrassingly short, exposing the ankles and socks.

When I contacted JustBlinds, I was told this is their *standard* for custom shades!! I was further invited to place ANOTHER ORDER with a 20% discount to get something that fits better!!!

I sent JustBlinds a photo of our existing roller shades, and these clearly leave scarcely/only 1/8" on each side, blocking out the entire window and looking like a perfect fit. This proof of what custom shades should look like was of no use.

I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company to obtain a refund on product that is clearly misrepresented as "custom".
