Very disappointed feel robbed

"First off your slogan is hassle free returns. What a joke my daughter received gifts from her grandmother that she didnt like and lost her receipt cause someone stole her purse. So I take stuff in and they give her merchandise credit. Well she didn't use right away cause well she works and goes to school so she goes to use the card and the card has a 0.00 balance they closed the return and now want me to call this 1800 number with all this information which is automated and u don't even get the chance to speak with a live advisor. I'm very dissatisfied and i want the things I returned cause maybe she can sell them and get something out of her gift. I cannot believe a company would do such a thing.."

"I used a 40% off online coupon for a singer sewing machine to replace my broken one I purchased at Joann’s 2 years ago. They immediately took my money and gave me no receipt just a note stating I would receive a notice via email within 6-10 business days once it ships. Out of nowhere I find the money returned to my bank account with no explanation. I went on their website today and found the item out of stock and the price hikes back up. I feel I should be offered the same price on the in stock machine I want. Coupon is gone also. They need to make good on this "

Order placed but not available.

"Placed order for 3 yds, said 7 available. Received email nest day that it is not available. Online it says store still has 7 yds. They are going to have to keep better track of inventory or this will never work. "

Shop anywhere else for fabric

"Joann lists items that they don't have. They sold me yards of fabric, then 18 days later cancelled it because the items were out of stock. Yet online they still list the items. I called customer service and the items online really are out of stock- but are still listed! I emailed again and was basically told "too bad". Joann does not care at all about customers."

HORRIBLE SERVICE,JOANN .COM NEVER SHIPPED

"NEVER HAS SERVICE BEEN SO POOR, JOANN REP.TOOK MY ONLINE ORDER CONFIRMED ALL 21 ITEMS IN STOCK ,SENT ME EMAIL 3 DAYS LATER THAT PART OF ORDER WAS SHIPPED FEDEX. THE PACKAGE NEVER LEFT THE WAREHOUSE,CALL AFTER CALL TO CUSTOMER SERVICE 1 -2 HOURS OF HOLD TIME EXPLAINING OVER AND OVER TO DIFFERENT REPS. EACH SAYING MY ORDER WAS SHIPPED IN 3 DIFFERENT PARCELS EACH WITH TRACKING NUMBERS. WHEN I LOOK THEM UP THEY ALL NEVER LEFT THE WAREHOUSES! JOANN'S TOOK THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AND SAID THEY WOULD REFUND IMMEDIATELY, THERE IS NO REFUND! JOANN STILL CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD FOR ITEMS I NEVER RECIEIVED HALLOWEEN ALMOST HERE AFTER ALL THIS TIME NO DECORATIONS OR SUPPLIES! SHAME ON JOANNS MAIL ORDER FRAUD! Joanns needs to reevaluate values and what they stand for.

" before my experience today I had nothing but good things to say about your store. However after my experience today I don't see myself returning. I was waiting in line where a grown women came over and ripped something out of my 2 year hand. Now I understand that your employees cannot control what people choose to do. However the opportunity your employees did have was to say that it is not ok to approach a child that way. Instead what happened was all 4 employees standing there turned away as if nothing had happened. Then to make matters worse I asked to speak with the manager she approached the customer and said she shouldn't approach a child like that. The manager should of asked the women to leave the store. From this experience I can tell that a standard your company is lacking through employees and management is to do the right thing. That women was in the wrong and instead of doing the right thing and supporting me your management and employees turned away and chose to do nothing. I have many years of experience in management and the first thing I teach my employees is to stand up and do the right thing. I'm not expecting to get anything out of this. I will take my buisness else where because I refuse to support a company that has such poor values. However I hope whoever reads this takes it seriously and I hope as a company you re evaluate your standards and the things your company stands for. "

Email promotion for $5 coupon with two purchases not followed through

"I like our local JoAnn store in Oceanside, I like getting the discount offers and they're usually patient while I pull them up on my phone. They recently had the same promotion for April and May which was make 2 purchases those months on different days and earn a $5 coupon. Well, I did just that, making sure they scanned the email barcode for the offer and heard nothing, did not receive the promised email with the coupon code. Had to email repeatedly, was told the offer "was being sent" which it was not, had to email repeatedly again, and again promised it was coming. This was for the April promotion and still nothing. I don't have confidence they'll get their act together for the May offer but I'm ticked so will be persistent.
Your customers spend a lot of time and money on your merchandise, JoAnn. The least you can do is make good on your offers and keep your customer base happy!

Terrible customer care

"I made the mistake of getting Joann app. Got swamped with emails day and night. The ones at night waking me up at 2am were they worst. "Unsubscribed" and they said would take up to 2 weeks for emails to stop. They didn't. Few weeks later send 2nd request. They said 24 to 48 hours to stop. 4 days later still coming in. Last woke me up at 1:40am. Filed FTC can-scam complaint. Maybe that will work. Will never set foot in one of their stores again. "

"I went physically into a store to buy a presser foot I take the presser foot to the front counter and they can't sell it to me because some third-party individual is not available today to sell the item while the store is open. "

"I had to stand in a long, long line just to return a $5 item! Ridiculous! I stopped at what I thought was the return counter only to be told by a very rude checker that I needed to stand in line! It’s the holiday season and the lines are long. What a ridiculous practice to make your customers stand in a line 25 deep to return $5!!!!"

Beyond terrible!

"I placed an order online and paid for express shipping. Even though I received shipping confirmation the next day, the package never arrived. It never left the warehouse. Called the customer service number and was told it must be lost, so they issued a refund and processed a new order. The same thing happened AGAIN. No one can call the warehouse to find out where the merchandise is. The customer service supervisor offered the same remed yet again, but could not guarantee that it would not happen a third time. I was also told that they would not ship overnight regardless of the fact that they messed up my order twice. Terrible customer service and horrible business practices."

No Yarn No Reason

"Ordered on line on Sept 8, Received Tracking number Sept 11.
Tracking info reads "Tracking details will be available once the package arrives at the FedEx facility. Please check back soon!" On Sept 23 I wrote to JoAnn inquiring about my order. Received a "ticket number that stated 48 business hours". Four days later I called customer service. On hold for 2 minutes. (While a commercial was read to me over and over). Finally got a person. Gave all my information. She checked. Status: Order Pending. I asked to cancel and for a refund. She says she is issuing a refund and that it would take three to five business days. We shall see. This yarn was to complete a sweater for my grand daughter. Sale price $5.99, SHIPPING $8.00
this isn't my first slow experience with on line orders from JoAnns. Conclusion. NEVER AGAIN.
