"Well I've no idea where my invoice is...but that's a good thing, cause if I had a problem with this company it would be attached firmly to my bulletin board above my desk. Any way I have personally ordered a few times from Jazz (RAM Only) and have always gotten what I order and have always gotten proper notification in emails. I did receive 1 bad stick in my last order and was promptly issued and RMA and even though it was Christmas time I got my return in a reasonable time frame. I have also order RAM from them for work and have been satisfied with that too. Their sales and techs have always been helpful and seem competent."

"From Pricewatch I bought an Artec CD-RW from them around October 2002, item came in a timely manner and in good condition. I have had 1 bad burn since then and hundreds of good burns. I'm building a computer for a friend, and I went to Jazz again. Once again, I recieved the product within a week. I haven't been able to test it yet, but I don't doubt that it will work great."

"I received my order in one week, but didn't receive the right order.

I'm not sure how you confuse 50 Maxell DVD-R's w/ jewel cases with a spindle of generic discs, but they did.

On a positive note, they replied to my email complaint right away and is sending the correct order with a prepaid RMA shipping sticker.

Update: It took them another full week to ship out the right order, and have to wait another week for UPS Ground across the country. *sigh*

Update: Got the correct shipment today (Feb 5), two weeks late total, but no return shipping label. I'm holding product until they send me a prepaid shipping label.

"I received a defective product, but RMA was almost impossible to work with, and even harder to contact. They simply don't answer the phone. A buyer has to call sales and have the salesperson personally hand the phone to the tech guy. RMA did not work toward helping the situation, nor did they really care that I went two months without ever seeing a product."

"Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast. Ordered late Fri, received next Thurs. Had to use their e-mail forum to request order/shipping status as their site's customer account/track didn't work for me. They responded to all my inquiries same or next day. Purchased a Soltek motherboard. Their price with UPS ground was lower than other sites."

"Overall, Jazz delivered my P4 3.06 quickly and at a low cost. However, they were horrible about sending e-mails and only sent me one for my UPS tracking number. I never received a confirmation e-mail of any kind. Also, I was never "saved" into the registered customers database so they had no record of me. I called Jazz twice and talked to them and they said my card was charged and the item was shipped. They also told me thta I should be getting an e-mail soon. I never did and I still am not registered as a customer. It would have been nice to have a receipt for my order and some confirmation."

"I purchased a DVD burner from Jazz Technology (a Pioneer DVR-A04). I placed this order 3 months ago and finally have a working DVD burner in my computer.

The first DVD burner that JT (Jazz Technology) sent did not work. After several emails to JT, they gave me an RMA number. I sent the hardware back to JT and I was stuck with the shipping charges. It took JT about 3 weeks and a few follow-up emails from me for them to send out a replacement. Fortunately, the new drive works!

So, I am relieved that I finally have what I ordered 3 months ago. Another good thing is that I never had to call them on the phone...emails worked. But, I did have to pay for the shipping to return the defective unit and did without a working drive for 3 months.

"Typical scam artists, they lie about having an item in stock just to make me order it. The lady on the phone swore that the item was in stock at 9:30am and at 2:36PM when I called to check if the item has shipped (I ordered overnight shipping) she said "Oh, I was just about to call you..) and of course the item is out of stock.
They are just another TYPICAL lying e-scammer company who is will do anything just to talk to you into placing the order,they will NEVER have my buisness again and I'll make sure the hardcore gamer community will know about this.

I asked the liar lady to release the hold on my funds (placed within a few minutes of ordering) TODAY or I will take this to the better business bureau.

I truly despise companies like Jazz Technolgies and I am glad they showed their true side on my very first order. I suggest anyone to STAY AWAY from this company and rather shop at reputable places liek Newegg.com.

"These guys did a great job! I have had a VERY hard time finding a reseller with the P43.06GHZ chip in stock (many places claim they have it in stock, but don't).

I called to verify that the chip was really in stock and spoke to Ben. Ben informed me that it was REALLY in stock. I was rather skeptical having heard this before. To appease me Ben took my order personally and made sure that it shipped that day!!! AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

"Ordered a CD-ROM. They shipped it across the country wrapped in one sheet of bubble wrap in a box no bigger than the drive itself. Ofcourse, it arrived damaged. Called them the same day; no answer. Left a message; they never returned call. Still waiting for RMA number.

11-18-02 Update: spoke to rep. He said that he'd send me out a replacement and have it to my home by Friday at no additional charge. I will need to ship the damaged drive back to him in order to avoid being charged. Things are looking better!

11-21-02 Update: got a call from a UPS rep stating that Jazz had contacted them regarding a damaged shipment. They said that they would pick it up from me tomorrow. Still no word from Jazz on a tracking # for the new drive their rep promised me by tomorrow. I plan to call them tomorrow.

11-22-02 Update: Just spoke to Kevin @ Jazz Technology. Although he said he'd have the drive to me by today, it looks like it wont arrive until Tuesday 11-26-02. According to UPS tracking, the package was sent on Wednesday 11-20-02. Looks like it took Jazz 2 days to pack a new drive and send it out. If I would have went through Newegg, I would have already had my drive. Then again, Newegg would have packed it properly the 1st time so this would never have happened. And if it had, at least they deliver their products when they say they will and correct their problems honorably. This whole thing is starting to give me a bad feeling...

11-26-02: According to UPS, my package is out for delivery today. Let's see if Jazz packed it properly this time.

11-26-02 Update: Wow - properly sized box this time, plenty of popcorn and a bit more attention to detail with the bubble wrap. Had it been packed this way the first time, Jazz would have received a 10 from me and a recommendation.

The problem has been resolved. Time for completion of order: 2 weeks.

"I am not very happy with this company right now. First they tell me that an item was compatible with the memory that I ordered on the same invoice. I receive the memory cooler and the memory. Guess what? The memory cooler is not compatible. The memory is defective. They tell me that they will send a shipping label since it was their error. I have not received a shipping label, but was told to go through their RMA process (DAYS later) instead. I go through their RMA process and was advised that my memory cannot be exchanged. WTF?

So they lied to me on what they were going to do. Please STAY AWAY from this company. I am still in the process of trying to get my refund back to them, so I will update my rating. But as far as what's going on right now, I will be very surprised if they fix their LIES.

Besides their defective products, they charged me $21 for shipping!! FOR 2 ITEMS! I received it in a small box, with 4 peanuts.

"I have been looking for a reputable vendor who stands behind their products. Most are just a bunch of scam artists and make every buck off a sale whether or not the customer is happy.

I thought that there were a few that charge a little more but then make an effort to assure that the customer is happy, like Jazz. But after reading the "fine print" I see that they are just like Newegg, Nutrend, ABS and Mtzon. In fact, the policies of these companies are so much alike, you would think they were the same company!!!

They all give you a "money back guarantee", but charge you a 15% restocking fee. After 15 days, you are stuck with whatever you bought, no returns. Plus, they all count the shipping time as part of the 15 days.

These guys have good ratings, but I bet that is because they encourage their "happy" customers to make postings. I bet they still have a lot of "unhappy" customers with return policies like these.

"I ordered a couple of CDROMs and Burners from Jazz Technology like I have done in the past. This time I received a bad burner. I tested it in several machines and it would not read any CDs at all. So I sent it back. Getting the RMA was not hard. Just email them with your troubleshooting and 2 days later you will get an RMA authorization. I sent the burner back by UPS and tracked it. It arrived a couple days after it was sent. That was 3 weeks ago. I have called multiple times and it is difficult to get someone unless you press 0 instead of the other options. They have lied and told me several times that it was shipped and they would have the RMA dept send me the tracking number. A week and a half later I finally get the tracking number. According to UPS.com, the package has not been scanned. I called UPS and they said that unless it was shipped on a different tracking number, it has not been shipped at all yet. Today will be the 9th business day from when it was supposedly shipped. UPS's ground policy is 5-7 business days from coast to coast. I sure hope I receive that burner soon."
