I bought one of their full length long lace up overdresses and discovered that it was too small so reached out to exchange it but was told I could not because it was a sale price. No exchange or refund. So I completely wasted my money on this. I really don't understand how they can justify this policy and so I expressed my views on it... They didn't even bother to reply. I don't care how nice their products are, I will not do business with them again when they don't care about their customers.

"I love every single thing I have ever bought from HolyClothing. It's all so beautiful. It takes me back in time which is where I feel I truly belonged. The only complaint I have is that I am short and most things are geared for a 5'7 woman there, so I have had to have many pieces altered professionally. HC does offer more and more things in petite (shorter versions) so I hope they continue in this and make ALL things offered in Petite. I am a x2 and x3...It's really great they offer clothes to x5 so eveyrone can be and feel beautiful. Their sales will soar if they offer more things in shorter lengths in both arms and legs. The pretty necklines are a big seller too. I also love how they are slowly adding more colors to choose from! Bravo! Note to any potential buyers, I don't iron anymore but I have a big steamer. They steam beautifully but be careful not to oversteam the embroidery work."

"Holy Clothing has quite the devoted fan-base and that is because on styles, sizing, fabric, customer service and shipping the company delivers. I have been buying Holy Clothing since 2005 and this brand now accounts for about 7/8s of what's in my closet, and for what I wear on about 6 days out of 7. Be warned! Buying Holy Clothing is addictive. When you find an item you really like (for me that's the Catriona maxi dress and the Nicolette maxi skirt) you will want it in ALL the colours.
Holy Clothing celebrates women of all sizes and makes clothes for the larger sizes that are NOT polyester, NOT all sleeveless, NOT of shapeless and uninteresting designs, NOT in drab colours. This is a very RARE thing and much appreciated! (Larger ladies, you have fought the good fight, so you KNOW! Tall ladies, these maxi dresses really are maxi, and if the maxi is still not long enough for you, there are tall sizes also).
The fact that Holy Clothing recognizes the many different body-types there are (petite, tall, S-5X), is an expression of how personalized everything is that this company does. If you become a Holy Clothing regular customer you will get notices from "Janice" in your inbox. I have never had to return anything that I have bought, but I have had queries about sizing and have used the "ask a question" interface on the website. You get a real person writing you back, and when I think about the workshops where this clothing is made, I imagine a lot of Indian women (fairly paid) making my Holy Clothing with that same degree of personalized care and attention toward every stitch and dye-lot. In some cases if a style isn't offered in a particular colour Holy Clothing will make you a custom one, given 30 days and a $30 surcharge. I don't know of many companies that will do that!
The best thing about Holy Clothing is that while you go to work or about your daily life in these clothes (getting complimented left and right) you can pretend you are a heroine in an Arthurian legend, or one of those wistful women in the pre-Raphaelite paintings. For people who love those things, Holy Clothing allows you to express your love by your personal style. Some of the gowns and capes may be too costume-like for daily wear but the pieces I mentioned (Catriona, Nicolette, Tesha (another of my favourites), or Robin, can go anywhere.

"Having been a customer of Holy Clothing since 2005, I could not be happier. I have just one word.... Excellence! The clothing is of a very good quality, it lasts for years if you look after it, the styles and colors are absolutely fantastic and the material soft and comfortable against the skin, not to mention that their sizes are a dream. What other company goes from genuine S to 5xl and stay true to size....and also offer "tall" versions of several of their garments? They ship internationally, shipments are by courier and can be tracked, and if you shop for $99 the shipping is free no matter where in the world you may be. My last order was for 6 dresses....this was during their busiest sale....the dresses arrived by international courier within 10 days of my order....customer service was amazing once again. As for the dresses and skirts...I have never needed a slip with a HC dress or skirt, have never found the fabric to be substandard in any way and if anything my HC dresses creases less than any of my linen/cotton dresses. In my 15 years of ordering from Holy Clothing I have never had reason to complain.....THAT is why I shop at Holy Clothing."
