"I find myself in a wheelchair with 22+ broken bones between 2 legs and being told I'll never walk again. This has been devastating news with 6 months of trying to change that hard to swallow prognosis. But I'm stubborn. So I'm still trying to find a way to walk again. In the meantime, when I try and stand on my own two feet, I'm basically falling into the wheelchair when I can't stand anymore. You know, when my legs can't balance. This constant up-and-down has caused the seat to my wheelchair to rip right at the rail allowing the metal to dig into my thigh. Feeling frustrated, I started looking for a replacement wheelchair. Expensive! Then I came across HME on the web. I was ecstatic to find that HME had the replacement seat I needed! Instead of replacing the whole wheelchair, I bought 2 replacement seats for my trusty wheelchair. Until I can stand and balance for more than 2 minutes, I'm going to be rough on the seat just like its predecessor. Replacing just the seat and also buying a backup is still only a quarter of the cost of replacing the whole chair. Thank you HME! Good to know you have my back . . errr . . . my seat!"
