It costs $80 for a replacement and the manufacturer said all warranties must go through the distributor. I was expecting dozens of phone calls and weeks of waiting.
Helmet City took care of everything. All I had to do was call them, give my name, and described the problem. They looked up my order, called the distributor for me, took care of everything, and called me back to let me know a replacement would be there by the end of the week."

"Extremely happy with the service and quality of Helmet City, not as happy with their choice of delivery service, OnTrac. OnTrac delivered my helmet to another home in the area, contacted them and no one could do anything until the "Helmet City Accounts Person" could be contacted. Never did get a response from that person. So instead of contacting the driver to find out where the item was delivered, nothing was done until the Accounts Person so to. Lucky for me and I guess everyone involved, a good neighbor in the next community over from mine brought it over later that evening. "
