"The truth about this place is simple. There are tons of other places that sell the same stuff as these guys, and you're almost certain to have a better experience elsewhere. HandHeldItems is terrible. If they screw up an order (like what happened to me), they may do a return for you, but you're paying ALL the shipping. Here's the problem with that. They list their items at pennies on the dollar, and put all the product price into the ship cost. Then they lean on their policies that state basically the customer is ALWAYS going to get stuck with shipping costs. They will insist repeatedly that the problem is your fault. They won't try to help. And if they do finally offer to help, they arrange a conditional resolution whereby they ONLY solve your problem if you leave them positive feedback FIRST. If you refuse, then they refuse to help you. The customer service is horrible and unhelpful, and they stated on the phone that the "CEO doesn't speak with customers". Really What kind of a place does that? That's simply not good business. Obviously the smart move is to go to one of the MANY other online sellers who actually care about their customers."

"I ordered clear and white bumper case for iPhone 5. Received one that was defected, white part of the bumper came off the clear part. After realizing how poor quality of the product it was and knowing that even if I get a non-defected product I wouldn't be confident when it will break again, I asked for full refund. They replied saying that they can't refund the shipping. I been buying a lot of stuff online but this was worst customer service I received on defected product. I recommend NOT buying ANYTHING from HHI.

Their customer service(Austin) didn't reply the email for three days. They refuse to give me the full refund. I decided not to waste my time so I asked for the new product to be sent. I got email saying that product is back ordered and he can send me different color. REALLY? Which retail store doesn't give full refund for faulty product and they can't even send you the replacement?"
