"so far so good. I previously bought this same AMP from another ebay reseller and the AMP burnt out only after 2 weeks. I know it's NOT me as I am a Master Installer for Mobile One. But I def could NOT get the amp at this good of a price from Mobile One not even at cost... I was impressed with HPA because i recevied an EMAIL from them stating where my purchase was and I initiated an email and I got a personilized response back.. NOT an automated email BOT. The previous amp (i noticed) as I've owned no less than 4 of the MTX te1501d's before wasn't putting out as much power as I had anticipated. I reinstalled my 4 channel A/B TE10004 amp and it far outdid the TE1501D. which tells me it was bad to begin with or it was improperly refurbished. I contacted MTX and they had NO record of that amp ever being in their shop. I have it hooked up to 2 Alpine TYPE X 10's and my aahmeter shows a good 140 amps at 13.8 volts being pumped out. This amp is hitting a good 1800 watts. and it hurts to listen to. I am estimating a good 140's on the SPL. I will have to get it pen metered soon. Thank you again for the amp!"
"This company is a JOKE. I ordered a down firing layered box, received a front firing carpet box. The company said they would send the correct product and sent the same INCORRECT product a second time. Not to mention the MDF looks like crap and BOTH boxes I received had flaws ( one had cracked MDF on the subwoofer cutout hole and the other was not even nailed together in one corner, there was a half inch gap. When I called and asked for a refund the service rep LAUGHED..I will never do business again and hope the word gets spread that this company is a RIP OFF!!!!"
"This company is why i don't like to buy online. They were the only ones with a particular part number. Paid for overnight shipping to get product before a show. The shipping dept. sent it out ground. Had one day left to get it. Called them and asked to stay on the phone to verify it would be sent out overnite for the SECOND time. They assured me it would.That i would receive an email in a few hours to verify. Guess what? NOT! And of course the part did not show up the SECOND day...Now they said they didnt have the product to ship...i asked them to cancel the order at this point...So then to top off an already bad experience, they are trying to charge me a RESTOCKING FEE!!!I will let them talk to the credit card company! WHAT A LET DOWN! never again for me!"
"I ordered a Blaupunkt Sealed 12" Subwoofer enclosure on eBay from Half Price Car Audio. The Box was caulked so sound doesn't escape through the cracks, made out of strong 3/4" MDF, and carpeted for a very clean look. Also, it came with the terminal posts as well! I had never heard of Half Price Car Audio before, and was leery, however I had a very positive experience. The box was $25 including shipping and I couldn't even make a box for that price! Half Price Car Audio had great communication and I would certainly deal with them again. "
