"brought in phone to IDS location because screen was wobbly. well, fixed screen, but in the process made the phone unable to have receptivity. this means no texts, no emails, no internet, no calls, no messages. nothing. after documenting the whole time I had returned more than 20 times. this place telling me they think they know what the problem is. they can fix it. ultimately, after all this time, they threw their hands up and said they could refund me the $220ish I paid for the "fix." great. my phone is four times this price. so now ive got this paltry sum that couldn't begin to cover the price of the phone I had to buy. I wish I would have known so far in advance that they could never fix what they broke. so for two months and three weeks it was just a glorified alarm clock, having long since purchased a new phone. I understand that more often unhappy customers tend to post, and this may just be an outlier event, but if you plan to go to this place, MAKE SURE to back up everything on your phone. also accept the possibility, they will actually destroy youre phone. id suggest fixology on Marquette downtown Minneapolis. this guy there fixed my watches and related products. should have gone there first. my mistake."
"I took my old I phone 4 to the downtown skyway location, because it would not wake up.
John S. took great care of me. They took my phone and called me a few days later to pick it up. It work perfectly. John said when he opened it up, the battery wire was not connected to the screen, so although the phone was charging the screen was dead. He reconnect the wires and it works great. The best part, I asked how much do I owe them. NOTHING the problem was taken care under their diagnostics phase which is always free. I can't speak to all the bad reviews, all I can say is John at the Skyway office is the best.

"This is my third time visiting this location. I brought back and iPad air that had had the screen replaced here at Gophermods. The screen was acting funny but mostly the issue is that the home button had collapsed in and would not pop back out. I had this replaced by them in October 2015 and therefore it was out of the one-year warranty that they give. This is a poor warranty in my opinion. When I told them my problems, they stated that they would give me an upgraded screen like the ones that come with touch ID iPads due to the fact that they had had problems with the other screens. Wouldn’t you think that if they were installing defective screens with bad home buttons they would make a concession on the warranty? Apparently this is not the case. When I received my iPad back they did the walk-through test to make sure everything worked. When I got home and opened up a Safari webpage for the screen that had mostly white on it I noticed a hair/scratch in the middle of the screen that is underneath the digitizer and above the LCD. I took the iPad back to them and asked to have it fixed and they stated that it was dirty underneath there and they got it as clean as they could. GopherMods is the only one that is ever touch or repaired this iPad so any scratches on the LCD or hairs, etc. is due to their replacing the screen. There was also an issue of the job being completed by the day they said it would. I am extremely disappointed and will no longer send friends/family there nor have any of my other devices repaired here again. "

"I took my phone into the Apple Valley location to have my screen repaired- not even 3 days later I noticed a slight crack in the upper corner. Upon bringing the phone in I was told "phones don't crack"- hmm I agree so my husband questioned if the product was defective or maybe it was not installed correct. In so many words he called me a liar. When asked for the owners information the clerk, Rodney, would not give any information and asked if he was ever in the store he was told "no, I am the only one you can talk to". So a big waste of $160 and poor customer service!!! Save your time and money and go to the Apple Store!!"
"I recently brought in my iPad 2 for screen repair. These guys and the one gal were AWESOME. They fixed my iPad the same day during what seemed to be a seamless workflow. I received an order confirmation e-mail after placing the order and was notified I'd receive another after the device was ready for pick-up. A few hours later a buzz on my phone and I get a notification that the device was ready for pick-up. Checking out was an easy stress-free process and they ran through some quality assurance testing to make sure that my device was returned in the same condition I dropped it off in. A++, keep up the good work guys and gal!!!!!"

But, their customer reviews are crazy fake. I have friends who have worked for these people who told me what they do. The proof of this is very easy to see, just take a look at the web address below their fake reviews. You will see that most have their name Gophermods or Gophermods.com as part of the web address which means the fake reviews are coming from their own website or a website they own or control. "First you should pay no attention to the 24 Hour turn around claim. That is a complete verified lie. Mine has been there for 48 Hours and it has still not been looked at. I have not gotten my PS3 back yet so this is a intermediate review that I will update. There appears to be a scam here on this review site because I have never seen all 1 star and 5 star reviews. Also the 5 star reviews are ridiculous. All star reviews are probably fake since there is nothing about this company that is 5 star worthy. I have more reasons to say that but will update these later.
I recant all f this as these guys really are cool. They actually fixed my ps3 for free. I tried to pay them but since it was found to not be broke they would not accept payment. Not only did they install a new hard drive but they worked with me on getting one. I thought this exemplary service deserved compensation. Guess this review will have to suffice."

"I am VERY pleased with the service I received from Gopher Mods!! They made everything as painless as possible. I shipped the unit and had a confirmation e-mail the next morning that they received the unit. It was very quick service, reasonably priced, and guaranteed with a 6 month warranty. Ben, at Gopher Mods, has also been very helpful, with getting me a credit - when it appeared that my credit card was charged twice (I think this was my error - as I think I hit the button twice!!). They didn't argue with me about it or anything, and have been very helpful since we received our PS3 back. I will definitely keep them in mind, if service is needed again, on any of the electronics they're able to fix. Thank you!!"
