"I've recently dealt with the new management team at giantnerd (Michael Eddy) and his very capable customer service extraordinaire Chris. Together they have made my experience pleasant, professional, and most of all, informative. My first attempt at contacting Giantnerd.com I got Mike directly. It was a Saturday and he was staying in to take some calls that might filter through. If that isn't the first sign of dedication, I truly don't know what is. He proceeded to address all of my questions and gave me very sound advice on how I should proceed in purchasing my new road bike. Their prices are incredible, and they are constantly lowering them even further with additional sales and year end incentives. I missed a sale date once and Mike was kind enough to make other arrangements to ensure I was happy and satisfied.

Furthermore, I had originally purchased the Tommaso mondial and rode it around comfortably without any worries under their 7 day test ride policy. I ended up returning the bike and upgrading and they gave me no issues whatsoever. Highly recommended, and would most certainly do business again. Whoever the owners were before, they are thankfully no longer around because Giantnerds.com is in very capable, friendly, and professional hands.

"Had a great purchase experience with Giantnerd, and the bike I ordered (Tammaso La Forma) arrived just as promised. Five minutes of assembly using the tools provided in the box and I was riding! Components all seem high-quality, saddle is comfortable, instructions were easy to read and understand...everything about the experience was great! I traded emails with Giantnerd for a few weeks before placing the order, and they were always responsive and helpful. Can't say there was any aspect of the buying experience that I was less than fully satisfied with."

"Read some questionable reviews about Giantnerd and was a little hesitant about order in the BAMF Sucker Punch. When I called to order customer service was extremely helpful and dealt with all my questions and concerns better than I could have hoped for. They explained to me that a lot of former complaints were because of the old ownership which apparently switched over recently. I received my bike faster than expected (a week with the build!). After taking it out on the mountain a few times I could not be happier. And they even give you 5% back as Nerd Dollars towards future purchases. Don't believe the negative reviews these guys are the real deal! I will be back again for a road bike soon."

"This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I regret ordering from them and having to deal with the no customer service. As of now, I have gotten a partial refund for my item. They will not return calls or emails at this point. On hold for a long time only to be cut off eventually. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY OPERATION!!"

"Customer Service is a joke. Waiting two weeks for refund following return of Patagonia Jacket. Quit responding to my emails and next step is a call and getting loud with somebody to get some attention. Done with these boneheads and the shifty, Tony Robbins wannabe owner Randy Weidberg. "

"Ordered a bag for a great price (35% less than all other sites). Got an email a day later claiming my credit card information was incorrect and that I should fax them a copy of my card and identification (seriously!). Just tried to go to their site and figure out what the issue is and now their login screen doesn't work.

This all feels like a big scam. I'll be calling their customer support, although I don't expect to get anywhere (see other reviews here), so I'll probably have to call my credit card company to have them make sure this all goes away.

"I purchased a Tommaso Corvo road bike in March 2011 to replace my 11 year old Cannondale. And to say the least it has not been a good experience. After just 700 miles the right shifter went out on the bike. Cost for repairs was $270. Giantnerd will not honor the warranty. "

"I wish I could write two reviews: 1. initial purchase, 2. return process.

The initial purchase was great. Unfortunately the item wasn't true to fit (Northface shoes run BIG! You should order a full size smaller than normal)... but: that's not Giantnerds fault. However, when I returned the item, I had to front the shipping cost, and they did NOT have the item in the correct size. Now have been waiting a week, and hadn't gotten ANY communication from them after getting an RMA (return authorization) etc etc.

The returns process made the whole thing sour. If I had known that I needed a 10.5 in the Northface from the beginning, then it would have all been fine.

"Giantnerd has attractive prices on their private label Tommaso bicycles. They advertise one year return policy on their bicycles, and that was the deciding factor regarding why I bought the bicycle from them. After two months, I wanted to take them up on this offer and upgrade to another bike from them. They refused, saying that a bike that had been ridden for two months could not be returned. This is fraud, and I will not be buying from them again."

"Placed an order a week and a half ago, was told it would ship "fast" and it has not shipped. Have tried to contact the company for the past 5 days by phone and email and have been placed on hold each time, and no response to emails. Customer Service and general sense of business is absolutely horrible. Even if my order does ship at some point it will be returned, as I refuse to support a business that has no appreciation for their customers and is so poorly run."
