"I have to admit I was worried about ordering my Ibanez electric guitar online. I've heard consistently that you should play a guitar before you purchase it. I'd have no opportunity to do so, by ordering it online. I went to a local guitar shop which had the same Ibanez, but it was slightly damaged on the fretboard. The guitar sounded good, but I didn't want to purchase a used and slightly damaged guitar.
Luckily, Gear Tree had a competitive price along with a 10% discount for first time buyers which I loved. I took a chance and placed my order. I lucked out and was also able to get a free hard case with my guitar.
Within three days of placing my order, my package was waiting for me when I got home from work. Gear Tree had the box taped up securely. I had a hard time opening the box. There was protective cardboard and plastic covering my case. The moment of truth came when I opened my case. There he was all snugged and in one piece in his case. Not a scratch on him. No warp in the neck. The action was good. The strings looked good. The protective foam and plastic cover were still on the pickups and bridge. I was very very pleased.
