"I ordered multitools from this seller. Total sum of 2 orders is about 1000 USD. I am waiting goods more than 5 months, but didnt get. Seller saied that goods are despatched already.

But i didnt get amy parcel. I wrote to Linsey 5 emails with requesting to describe the situation why they didnt send goods, but i didnt get any response.

So be carefull in working with Gad-Zooks.

"I ordered an Inova Microlight from Gad-zooks on 12/06/2011, the item was paid for immediately upon purchase.

On 12/12/2011 I received the item and noticed the light did not function at all. The light comes with batteries installed with a 10yr shelf life and should have worked with no issues.

Over the course of the next 3 days, I sent 1 email per day alerting Gad-zooks of the faulty item I received. Finally, on the 3rd day I received a reply, and was told to find replacement batteries or to send the item back for an exchange. I tried a few local stores for the batteries, but had no luck finding the right size.

On 12/16/2011 I sent the light back in its original packaging for an exchange and alerted the seller of my desire for a new, working light and that I would be moving to a new address in the near future. I gave the specific date of my move and the new address where I would need the replacement light shipped.

Over the course of the next week, as before, my emails went unanswered. Finally on 12/21/2001 I received a vague email that did not answer my question about my new shipping address. The next day, 12/22/2011 I was informed that the seller had already sent the replacement to my soon to be moved from address (even after I specifically requested my new address for shipping). I immediately replied that that should be OK as long as it arrived before Dec 30th. Seeing there was over a weeks shipping time (although my questions were never answered regarding the exact date the seller shipped the replacement) and that I will be at that residence until December 30th.

After waiting for another week for the replacement, I sent emails on 12/27 and 12/28/2011 inquiring about the "shipped" replacement with no answer from the seller.

What should have been a simple process has taken over a month so far. I have paid for the item and for shipping and return shipping... for a defective product, with very few and vague replies from the seller.

"Top marks for Gad-Zooks.com from me. This is at least the fourth time I order from them (I live in Canada) and they came through quickly and without incident on every occasion. My first few purchases from them were through eBay, then I noticed they have a website too which has even better prices, albeit close to their eBay ones (but no eBay fees factored in, I guess). Their eBay rating is another indicator of how they perform... the rating is 99.4% satisfaction, with over 70,000 ratings. That says a lot in my book.

I just ordered my latest Leatherman tool right before Xmas and it came in on the 30th of December. Not bad considering that it is the Holiday season. Although communication may not be their forte (I've had an e-mail go unanswered), I don't really have any complaints. The problem is that only people who have something bad to report will seek out these websites and complain with a bad review. I only stumbled upon it out of curiosity (Google search) and decided to post my experience so far, considering how much flak they seem to be getting in previous reviews. That said, I'm sorry to hear if some other people were not so fortunate when dealing with that seller... however, I'm not going to hesitate buying from Gad-Zooks again.

"I second all those saying these people are con artist. Ordered a product from gad-zooks almost a month ago now. They responded to two of my e-mails and then fell off the face of the earth. I have been able to look up the tracking number since day one and all it says is that the shipping was purchased but never confirms receiving the package. "Lindsey Weaver" continued to say that this was normal until she disappeared. Filed claim with paypal but I have to wait a couple weeks while the seller fails to respond in order to get my refund. Never dealt with such horrible online sellers, even on ebay, and I've been around the block."

"Like the rest of these reviewers, I wish I had read their comments first. They will not return phone messages, or e-mails, they haven't responded to my PayPal dispute. They have $180 of my money I gave them for a watch. It has been three months. I did get a physical address for them through BBB if you need it. STAY CLEAR. This company is a fraud. Do they realize mail fraud is a felony?"

"Don't waste your time with Gad-Zooks. I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE I ordered a watch through them since I had the same bad experience. Charges were put through, but I was given an untrackable postal code. Upon contacting Gad-Zooks through email (because their phone number is just an answering machine) I received the same "oh so sorry - I wonder what's taking the post office so long to deliver..." response. I agree with the reviewer who says he doesn't think they are shipping these items. I don't know what their scam is, BUT I do know it's a scam. In fact, I bet Lindsey doesn't even exist. There are several complaints with the BBB (though Gad-Zooks is not a registered business) and I will be sure to add one as well. I hope I save at least one person from having to chase after these guys."

"My order never arrived. USPS tracking number showed package was never rec'd by vendor. Vendor replied to one email stating USPS tracking number was not valid. Finally had to dispute charge on credit card. Buyer Beware!!!"

2011-01-31 --> I e-mail them that my package has not arrived (New Zealand) - no response.


2011-02-03 --> I e-mail them again.
2011-02-04 --> got an answer apologizing for their slow reply and how they have been sick for 2 days, etc. They then said they would start a USPS investigation and if they determined the package was lost, they would send me another at no cost to me.


2011-03-05 --> I e-mail them again.

2011-03-08 - got a response saying still no news from the Post Office but they will send a replacement to me now.

2011-04-02 --> Still waiting for the second package. I now suspect neither package was ever sent.

2011-09-02 --> Never any more responses to my e-mails from Gad-Zooks. In the end, I asked my credit card bank to reverse the charge, which they did.

"I ordered a number of Leatherman tools from this online store. Excellent price. The items were confirmed shipped the next day via USPS priority mail.
Ten days later I started worrying and contacted them. Got the "Lost in the mail excuse" (Should I believe they shipped $2,000 worth of merchandise without a tracking number?). Next two contacts no response. Next contact "The post office has not replied to our inquiry". Next contact "We will ship out your replacement order Monday". By Wednesday I asked for a shipping confirmation and tracking number. No answer. Contacted Amex and PayPal and filed complaint. They immediately refunded my money. I am convinced they never shipped the merchandise. Liars! Crooks! Do not do business with them!

"I ordered a flashlight from this merchant on 11/22. On 11/23, merchant said my order had shipped by priority mail. As of 12/2, the item is nowhere in the postal system to be found. The item never shipped and this merchant is very untruthful as to they're business practices. I highly recomend you stay clear of them."

"I do not recommend this seller. Even if you look at the ebay ratings, you will see many comments about slow shipping or items not received. We placed our order on Sept 8 2010. The items did not ship until Sept 22 2010 and we only found that out when we called Paypal. We contacted their support depart on Sept 16 and were assured that the shipment was sent out and it should arrive to us within a couple of days. I contacted them again on Sept 23 and did not get a satisfactory response other than it had already shipped and they would check with the post office. With out a tracking number or anything we called Paypal. We were able to find a tracking number for the shipment and the Electronic Shipping info had been transmitted on 09/10/2010 but it was never actually shipped until 09/22/2010.
I sent yet another email to the company and the email I received was "oh well, at least it will get to you in a day or two now, sorry for the trouble" The lady I had been emailing with (couldn't call because they don't have a phone number published) never gave us a tracking number, said that they did not use tracking numbers and we would have to wait on the Post Office. Well, she is obviously very misinformed, and obviously did not look anything up for our shipment. We are extremely unhappy with the level of customer service we received and the length of time we had to wait with no information, nor communication. I would NOT recommend this seller.

"Bought several items for a total of 191.58 USD on 25th Aug 2009 delivery to Italy. Items did not arrive. Asked for clarification. No order tracking number. I was asked for reimbursement or new shipping. I opted for new shipping and asked for tracking delivery (confirming I would have paid for extra costs). Items apparently shipped but with no tracking, and again it was not received. Wrote back to them, lot's of apologies, but no delivery. Communication went on until 12 Dec 09 whereby I continuosly asked for updates on delivery, in the end I asked for a refund. After this total silence. I wrote back to them several times but no response whatsoever. Paypal refund terms obviously were expired and I did not want to leverage on them after first missed delivery as GadZook's customer care seemed in good faith. Overall very bad experience lost all 191 dollars.

"Placed an order and made payment on 02/28/10 for numerous Photon lights as they advertised a good price for them. I then got an order confirmation the same day stating my order was "received". I then waited 17 days and finally inquired as to why I never received my items or any further update on their status. I received a reply stating that they shipped it "promptly" (no date given) but they sent it USPS so they had no way of tracking it and that I should receive it "shortly". I then waited another 6 days and asked what class mail they sent it by and what the expected time is to receive that class. I received another response from "Lindsey" the following day stating that she was "sorry about the long wait" and that it was "really strange". She verified my shipping address (at my request) and it was correct, but failed to answer my previous questions as to how it was shipped or when it should be expected. By now, I was more than a little worried because she also failed to advise how they planned to resolve the problem. I sent more e-mails asking what they were going to do to fix it, and suddenly, my e-mails (which were previously answered within about a day) are now going unanswered. I have since contacted my credit card company for a charge-back. I should have looked at the similar problems other folks have had before attempting to place an order with these people. I have been shopping online for years and have never had to request a charge back. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS SELLER! "

"I purchased a Leatherman e33tx knife from their ebay store on November 9, 2009. I received the knife on November 16. The knife had a manufacturers flaw. I sent the knife back to them for a replacement. USPS delivery confirmation showed they received the knife on November 19. As of March 2, 2010 I still have not received my replacement knife. When responding to my emails they have been very slow. When they do respond it is usually some excuse such as she (Lindsey Weaver) missed the fact that the knife had been returned or they did ship it but mail is slow during Christmas or computer system is giving them problems or they are now out of that model and don't know when they will be receiving it from Leatherman. On February 1 and 18 I sent them an email asking for an update as to when I would receive the knife, I haven't received a reply as of March 2. I would not recommend buying from this company because if there is a problem with your purchase they are slow to respond to emails and they do not have a phone number that I could find. I have asked for a refund, we'll see what happens."
