"Absolutely the worst transaction ever. Website said they had item in stock, I purchased online & didn't hear back from them. After 3 days of continuous calling & after 5 messages left, I finally get a sales associate on the phone stating that item is "out of stock" and there will be a 4-6 week wait. I tell her to cancel my order & refund my money but order was never canceled. I had to call my credit card company & cancel my card in case of fraud. I call & email them non-stop but no response & no communication whatsoever. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE FURNITURE AUTHORITY, THEY NEVER PICK UP PHONES, THEY NEVER RETURN CALLS or EMAILS! An Absolute Nightmare!"

"I ordered a double vanity sink and it was delivered completely smashed. The replacement vanity was never received. The shipping company, Pilot Freight, returned it because it, again, was completely broken. The Furniture Authority has not replaced my item has not gotten back to me. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. "

"I ordered two cabinets on 05/03/11. I recieved the cabinets on 07/14/11, I thought this was way to long for two small cabinets. The people who delivered the cabinets did not even notify me that they were at my home, simply dropped the boxes off at my garage and left. On unpacking the cabinets, one was in good shape, but the second one had one the pieces of wood that separates the drawers completely ripped off, this is the wood that you see on the front of the cabinet. In all honesty, it looks as if this was done at the factory and shipped busted as the splintered wood was in one of the drawers and there was no other damage to the drawer or even the box it was shipped in. I am very disappointed in the whole experience. This was the second time I have used Furniture Authority, but I doubt I will use them again."

"Furniture Authority is the worse ever..
They never answer their phones and when you e-mail them they always put down the same generic crap they have on file. 2-4 weeks. If you ask where it is, they do not know and do not know when it is being shipped. They do not have a warehouse in NJ and get things shipped to them and they still charge you a restocking fee for their troubles. I was very unhappy with this company for not being professional! I hope people don't order from them!

"I ordered a table from the Furniture Authority on July 19. After two weeks went by with no word, I called and was told it would ship "probably Wednesday, but Friday at the latest." Two more weeks passed and I'd heard nothing. A second call claimed that they had the table in California, and they were sending it to New Jersey so it could be shipped to me. Two days later, I received an email stating the table would ship on August 20, and that I would get a tracking number as soon as they had one.

Even a one month delay from order to shipping is, frankly, unacceptable. However, August 20 came and went with no email, no phone call, no tracking number. Today is August 30. After calling every hour on the hour today, I finally reached an associate who said that they table shipped from California was "damaged", and they had "a similar table" that they could ship "tomorrow" if I wanted.

I have no idea how long Furniture Authority would have waited to call me (having already charged my credit card) to tell me that my table was not coming. I would highly recommend not doing any business with this company, no matter how attractive their prices might be.
