"well i ordered the king panel bed and 2 nightstands in august. it is now novemebr and i still haven't received a thing. i get the run around every i time i call concerning the oreder. i pre payed for this order by check so i could get the 10%. i was initally promised the order would ship in 3 to 4 weeks. SO FAR IT APPEARS THAT I HAVE BEEN SCAMED! THEY CASHED MY CHECK AND I HAVE NO MERCHANDISE!! so frustrated!!"

"It seems as though my experience is similar to others. I ordered several pieces of furniture the last week of September. It seems as though my experience is similar to others. I ordered several pieces of furniture the last week of September. I paid extra money to have the company assemble the furniture. After they cashed the check they told me that they can not assemble furniture in the Columbus, OH area. Really? It is November 8th and they just emailed me because 7 weeks after the order was placed they figured out that the furniture isn't even in stock!! They have no idea when I'll receive my furniture. This is NOT a reputable company. I'd give any other company your business & money. Not Furniture XO"

"I ordered a table set on Sept. 28th. and paid via check to get the 10% discount, which they received Nov. 3rd. The sales rep was clear about the ordering procedure and gave me his direct extension in case I have more questions. He explained everything...except that my table set was NOT IN STOCK! The company never notified me my order was out of stock; they only left my order status as 'processing.' I called customer srv and told them my issue and they put me on hold forever. I then tried calling the rep I first talked to using his extension...again, was left on hold a very long time. I decided to email them about the situation to wks after my order (on a Sat.) And they didn't reply back till Tues. just to let me know they don't have my table set in stock and gave me an "iffy" range of when they should receive it. It is now five weeks since I ordered and I still have not received my order! I contacted the admin via email and no one replied. Then I decided to canceled my order as per their cancellation policy via email on Fri. Nov. 4th. Today is Tues. and still no word from them!!!

This is a terrible company! They claim to be in business for a long time yet their business ethics and customer srv show otherwise. They seem to work the old school way where any customer ques. or concerns is answered (or not) a week later. FurnitureXO seems fraudulent. I should have gone with my instinct that the price is too good to be true and heed the reviews of many other unsatisfied customers.

I would never ever recommend FurnitureXO to anyone. If you still want to go with this company even after the warning, read their return/cancellation policy carefully! If you want to cancel your order, you must do it within 48hrs of initial order to not incur any charges. If your order still haven't come after a month, you must cancel within 4-6 weeks of initial order via email to not incur charges. Like I said, I've written a request for cancellation after 5 weeks of my initial order. As of this writing, still no response from them, I don't have the furniture I ordered, and they still have my money!

"It appeared that FurnitureXO had competitive prices, so I decided to order a particular piece of furniture from them instead of another retailer. After purchasing the item and waiting two weeks, it still had not shipped. When I contacted them, they said that the item I had ordered was not in stock, but should arrive in another week. On the third week since the original order was placed, they contacted me to inform me that they would have to charge me an additional $50 for shipping. I agreed, as I was getting tired of waiting and just wanted to get it over with. Still another 2 weeks passed and they had not shipped the furniture (5 weeks from the original order). I contacted them and stated that I was not satisfied with their service, and wished to cancel the furniture order. They claimed that the furniture would ship soon if didn't cancel the order. I cancelled the order anyway, as I was tired of dealing with them at this point. They did issue a refund within a couple of days. I ended up purchasing my furniture elsewhere and everything went well. I would not recommend doing business with FurnitureXO. They list furniture that they don't actually have in stock, and the furniture & shipping price listed up front is false - they'll ask for a higher payment later.

Update: Apparently, if you write an accurate review, FurnitureXO asks you to remove it. Had they accurately looked into this matter, they would see that they cancelled my original order which was place weeks prior to this one. The order reflected below is after they raised the price of the item with a higher shipping charge. I am displeased that they are not representing this matter honestly and are accusing customers of being liars. I have read other reviews of this seller and I am not the only one who has encountered such problems with them.

"So I ordered a livingroom set on Sept 19 2011, I call Monday they said it was in Friday, and would be ready to be shipped in 24 to 48 business hours and I should receive an email, anyways it is now Wednesday Oct 26 , and I never received an email so I call back , and another guy answered saying that my furniture is in fact not in and it should be another week or two .....ok so this is just ridiculous, they could atleast keep me informed, I just want my furniture sometime within this century!!!! Please be cautioned....

"I had a very pleasent experience shopping with these guys ! they told me exactly how long it would take to fulfill my purchase for my living room set and stood by their word. "What I don't like about is they are lying about delivery date.
When I ordered, they told it would be delivered in 2 weeks. Then every week I called, they kept pushing out 1 week.
In the end, I received my bedroom set in about 6 weeks. It was a long wait.

"Terrible. Free shipping is a ruse, they emailed me later to tack on the shipping expense. Item was never shipped, 7 weeks later I email and call to discover item is not availbale. Couldn't someone have emailed me to inform me of this? Do not waste your time with FurnitureXO."

"Great company!! I had a really awesome experience getting furniture for my daughters dorm room which is half of the country away form where I am sitting :O) I was really worried how this would play out logistics wise. And you know what? It turned out that I didnt have to worry about anything, FurnitureXO got the furniture in a week or so, shipped it when I asked them to ship, everything was done just perfectly; plus on top of everything I got a 10% discount just because I sent in a check instead of using a credit card. :O)"

"I recently ordered an Ashley bedroom set at FurnitureXo. I saw that they offered a payment by check option which made sense to me considering the 10% discount, but had some questions about this method of payment. When I called, I was able to speak with an employee who was not only kind, but knew what he was talking about. The sales rep answered all of my questions thoroughly and clearly.

The Ashley bedroom set furniture arrived at the time promised and for a great price.

I definitely recommend buying from FurnitureXo. Great people, great prices, great service.

"They charged Restocking fee for something I did not recieve. Stay away, called to cancel, emailed, all within 20 minutes of the order. They were closed during the July 4th weekend. No response, finally when I call them, they throw in illegal conditions.

paypal cancelled order. again stay away from this fraudulent company.
They are charging me restocking fee for something I did not get.
They have the audacity to state I agreed to restocking fee.

I wanted to change my order now I wont send a dead dog to buy anything from this folks. One of the worst online. Fraud and illegal tactics.

order cancel request on July 3rd weekend with 4th monday is a holiday - with these folks asking to leave a me message. left many messages with request to cancel order.

There are many better places to buy furniture, this place is not recommended.

"I've been looking for this bedroom set for a long time and eventually decided to go with FurnitureXo.com to save myself quite a bit of money. Back then I didn't realize that this collection wasn't available for instant pickup from any on-line dealers; however I was pleasantly surprised how FurnitureXo handled this case. I was guided through every step of the process and accurately informed regarding any changes to my order. In the end I was very happy since I could make my plans accordingly to the delivery date. Thanks to great customer service in the future I can always call making sure that stock availability will match my expectations."
