Bait and switch

"Callled to confirm smoker I was interested in buying was in stock. Was told it was. Ordered. Next day got an email saying sorry, item was backordered. No good reason not to have order system integrated with inventory so folks should be able to see on the order screen if an item of interest is in stock. Was told they used to have this, but discontinued. Very poor way to present and solicit business."

"First, I'd like to say that I have been working with a gentleman named Brad who has been very nice and king in helping me with my issue regarding the grill that I ordered. That being said, I am very dissapointed due to the fact that I ordered this grill on Aug 14th and have yet to receive it. Originally I was sent only the rot iron piece that goes on the grill but no grill, then I was asked to send a picture of what I received ad if to say I was dishonest about it, then I was told the grill would be sent out expedited, but come to find out today it hasn't even been shipped yet. All this and I have already been charged for the grill. This does not give me confidence in your company. Brad has been very kind but I am very frustrated.

Communication is lacking

"I ordered a new grill from FireCraft on the 1st of the month. Though I received an initial email confirming my order, I've received no further communication on the status. I am now at the seven-day marker since placing my order. I had expected to receive a follow-up email by now with details on when to expect my shipment to arrive. After logging into my account to check the status, the only information noted is that my order is processing. I will be calling to speak with someone about what to expect, but I'm really disappointed with the lack of communication, as well as the speed of processing and shipping my item."

Not impressed

"I have been shopping for a pallet smoker for quite some time now. I finally decided on the traeger pellet smoker. I shopped around at storefronts locally and online and had many options to choose from. I decided purchasing through Firecraft for the package that FireCraft offered. Unfortunately, the saying "you get what you pay for" sometimes is the truth. The few dollars I saved on purchasing the traeger package which included 34" grill, 2 bags of pellets, a cover, extra rack and collapsible shelf from FireCraft was not worth it. I was excited to for the email notifying me my order was shipped. However, a day later I received another email stating that all of the items in the package were on backorder. When I called to get an update I was told it was traeger's shipping mistake. I find the blaming game annoying. I would've rather heard an apology on behalf of FireCraft letting me know that due to overwhelming sales the package is on backorder. I do not think I will purchase any items from FireCraft again. My purchase was made 7 days ago and I have yet to receive a shipping date..."
