DO NOT order from this site!

"We ordered a Kohler kitchen faucet that came to us clogged with black sediment which impeded the flow of the water. We had the faucet installed by a licensed plumber we have been using for 30 years and totally trust. Two days later the flow diminished to a piddle so we called the plumber back not knowing the problem. He showed us the problem, all the other faucets in the house checked out normal therefore concluding the problem was in the kitchen faucet. We called Faucets.com to share with them the problem. They passed the buck to Kohler and did not offer any kind of compensation for the product or the extra bill to the plumber. The agent was rude and dismissive. Kohler claims they test all products before sending them out. Most Likely Faucets.com sent us a returned used faucet. I will never use them again and make sure all of my friends know about them.

"This co has had my product on backorder for 4 months now. Build. Com is the parent co of faucets.com and build.com is a subsidiary of Ferguson PLC. So, I contacted Ferguson PLC to let them know about their reputation online! Let’s see how this pans out. Keep the reviews coming!"

Disappointed All 'round

"I just wrote a review of the product I ordered and returned to faucetdirect.com on their website. I don't want to write it again (I should have saved a copy), but suffice to say, I agree with the other reviews here. The product was not as expected. I returned it and received only $70 out of my $104 purchase (shipping? seems like a lot).

The entire experience was a disappointment, frustrating, expensive for me, and the process of getting "chat", email or phone assistance was arduous. I never did get a response to the fourth email I sent re: why my refund cost me 30% of the product value. What a mess. I feely badly for a parent company (Build.com) who supplied me with good customer service and a great Casablanca fan in 2015. They have really gone downhill. Be warned.

Terrible experience

"I ordered a faucet a month ago. I finally got a tracking number that showed it was delivered to Texas. I am in Colorado. I called, and a replacement faucet was sent, then I got an email saying that order was cancelled. Hold time was over 20 minutes for both calls. I missed my install date. This has been like trying to work my way through an insurance claim, all just for a simple purchase. I give two stars instead of one because the help is friendly. "

Blame the supplier !!! Terrible Service!!!!

"Ordered a toilet lid in June 2017. Received every month a lousy , email stating we will ship it at another 3- 4 weeks. This went on for 6 months!! Of course I contacted them about there delayed shipping and all I got was blame it on american standard, its not in stock. Their customer service is pitiful and if I were you I would buy it from some other company. They do NOT CARE ."

"Just an awful experience here. I ordered 5 items that were supposed to be in stock 7 WEEKS ago and still have not received a single thing and they can't tell me where the items are. In addition I was charged at the time I ordered even though it turned out 2 of the items were not in stock.

Shortly after ordering my order showed 3 of 5 items had shipped. I'm in Canada so don't usually follow up on stuff from the US for about 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I inquired where the first 3 items were. Customer service said they were sitting in a a warehouse in Iowa waiting for the items on backorder to ship.

I explained that I was already charged for the items and was told they had shipped to me, not to a warehouse in Iowa. The customer service guy said they would ship the 3 items in stock on Monday. That was a flat out lie because it's 4 weeks later they still haven't shipped.

For the 2 items that were not in stock I received repeated shipment delay notifications. They would give an expected ship date and I would accept only to receive another delay notification when that date arrived. I spoke to customer service after the 3rd delay and they said it should ship on the next scheduled ship date but could not provide any more information. More lies as that date came and with it another delay notification.

Finally 6 weeks after ordering the 2 backordered items shipped to Iowa and I was expecting to receive actual tracking to me for all 5 items now at that warehouse. Unfortunately, a week and a half later that still has not happened and after another 20 minutes wasted with customer service today they have to wait for the vendor account manager to arrive at the office because they have no idea where my stuff is and cannot provide tracking information.

If I don't have proper tracking by end of day today I'm going to be processing a charge back with my credit card as I've had enough of Faucet.com's lies, delays and incompetence.

"I always check the online store ratings before I order, since often getting the lowest price can end being just one big headache from shady operations offering rock bottom prices. Sometimes the reviews can be misleading. I ordered from Faucet.com for the first time and had an excellent experience. Order was placed on Monday Feb20 and it arrived the next day. The webpage is user-friendly and has great information about the products so one knows exactly what they're getting. The online in-stock availability was accurate. Overall a very good experience and I'd order from them again."

"Called up to price match something per their offer. They did do a good job of trying to match but couldn't go as low as I saw elsewhere. Still I went with them because they looked more legit.

Package came damaged, and they are making me hold on to it for at least 15 business days until UPS comes and inspects it, so i have this big busted package sitting in my living room.

They are NOT however, sending me a replacement. Instead I would have to order again which I find to be very poor customer service. I wouldn't order again because of that; I'm sorry you have a B2B issue with UPS but I shouldn't get stuck in the middle of that.

"Awful. I can't believe that I was told by a customer service agent that "we have the same database you see on the internet - unless you know what you want, we can't find it either." Wow... I know the sink I am looking for is very hard to find, but being told that they won't or can't even do a search or know what their own inventory hold is totally outrageous!

Don't even bother. If they won't help you before the sale, imagine what it will be like if you have a problem after the sale.

"Avoid faucet.com at all costs. They are a terrible company and provide horrific customer service. I ordered several fixtures from them. Unfortunately, I received the wrong size for my project. I went to return these items (they were in perfect condition) and they refused to take them back. They also mentioned a 20% restocking fee. If you go their website it promises no restocking fees and easy returns. These promises are complete lies. The customer service agent was particularly rude. I would not recommend faucet.com to my enemy. Additionally, I am redoing 2 more bathrooms. I will not be using faucet.com for these projects. Avoid faucet.com at all costs."

"An excellent shopping experience. I tend to judge these things by either how efficient the process was, the correctness of order and / or issues resolution. In this case, I first placed an order for several items then found a better price on one of them at another site. I used Faucet.com's guaranteed price mechanism and had zero hassles with that program. Unfortunately, somehow this wound up being double billed and then subsequently double shipped. I then called their customer service desk and not only talked to a person, but a helpful, polite, and knowledgeable person at that. We resolved the billing issues first and then tackled the "extra" items shipment issue. Again, no hassles. UPS came the next day and returned everything. Not only that, but I received frequent emails outlining where we were in the process.

So, while there were some errors (I'm not naive to think that all purposes go perfectly), the service and products were top notch.

In fact, I've now decided to buy something else and knowing their prices are reasonable, have decided regardless of negligible price difference, that I would be "their" customer.

"Pleased with my first order and my second went smoothly as well. I ordered an American Standard faucet (4147) on 9/10 and it arrived 9/20. Shipping was free and I saved $20 by joining their mailing list. Even better, I saw the same faucet for over $150 more at our local Expo store.

Good company. I ordered a Kohler sink (K-3086) on 07/14 and it was delivered on 07/28. This is phenomenal because no one in my area keeps this sink in stock and all said they would need 1-2 months to receive it via special order--at a much steeper price than what I paid. The price at two other online stores I looked at were less expensive, but faucet.com offers price matching and has very good customer service via email and phone (important for me to have a toll-free number to call staffed by knowledgeable people in case there is a problem). They also did not charge my card until the item had shipped, a nice courtesy that many online stores do not extend customers.

I was also very pleased with the way the sink was packaged for delivery. The original Kohler box was packed inside a larger box very securely with heavy-duty, high-quality packing material.
