"More and more each day, I am disgusted about the amount of plastic and other materials that are being thrown out on a daily basis. Specifically, I have a German made high-quality Peppermill that runs on six AAA batteries and I got tired of having to change the batteries all the time and then disposing of them. How horrific for our environment?
I was watching an episode of Ina Garten Barefoot Contessa and saw that she was using this unique hand crank Peppermill. I immediately went on the Internet to find and purchase it. At first I was concerned that as we get older that hand cranking can be difficult for arthritic hands, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The ease in turning the hand crank to crush the peppercorns is smooth and fluid -- a Toddler could turn it. LOVE IT!
Shipping was expeditious and arrived nearly 2 days later. I do love free shipping, which this company did not offer on the product I purchased, but I went ahead and glad that I did so. "
