"The original cord on the vac became frayed at the junction with the plastic housing and needed replacing.
The replacement cord was exactly what I needed. It came with no instructions on how to perform the replacement which made the process pretty challenging since I expected to be done in 5 minutes. I had to progressively take the vac apart -- removing piece by piece -- until the full run of the electrical cord was exposed. The vac included a hard splice of the power cord to the beater bar and vac motor which was not accounted for in the parts of the cord. I found a suitable wire nut and made the splice work. Total time on the project was about 30 minutes. Needed a wide variety of specialty drivers for my T-Handle craftsman driver.
But the part was the part and was what I needed. That met my basic expectations."
