Website and Carry stated it would be FEDEx

"Item was returned due to shipment issues.

The first item I ordered, a box of softballs arrived no problems through correct carrier as stated on website. The balls were the wrong product. It could have been my error when purchasing but I was looking at 12inch soft core softballs and received 12in **** softballs. Looking at the invoice it appears I purchased the wrong ones, however do not recall adding ****.

The 2nd order was made shortly after the first as I noticed your site carried the required socks for my softball team. Those also stated FedEx as shipment carrier. Which is not a problem shipping to my address in the mountains and ALWAYS receive my packages from FedEx. Instead, the 2nd order was shipped USPS, probably to save money on your side, even though you charged full shipping price. That item was sent back because USPS delivers to our local Post Office not our physical address because again I live in a mountain area and snow regularly falls in winter.

Your website shipping does not ship to PO Boxes probably because your labels and software does not allow for zip code-post office box numbers.

The item was returned, and yes I was refunded, however I do not care for the "It will ship FedEx" to only wait a week and have the product reurned.

Restocking Charge

"Not real happy with paying a re-stocking fee. Since some customers have size issues with fit etc. the only sure way to know whether the apparel fits properly is to sometime order different sizes not to mention companies or brands fit different due to the fact one clothing brand's XL may not be the same as the other guys.

My solution would be just to raise your price slightly and drop the restocking fee. Plus, I think customers would like free returns as with other companies policies. Just saying.

Great item, very affordable.

"I ordered a pair of blue gray baseball pants to match the Cleveland indians jersey I bought elsewhere. It's for a Halloween costume. Ricky vaughn... had everything but the pants. These guys were great to deal with easy ordering and checkout and I got my item a few days later. They saved me a ton of money and the pants are a perfect color match to the jersey. Would be a pleasure to do business with in the future if I have any sporting needs."

Terrible customer service

"This website has great prices but you better order the right size and not have to do an exchange. And ideally you have a large order because they charge shipping. So if you have 1-2 items, by the time they add shipping, its the same as Amazon's rates for most things, and Amazon ships WAYYY faster. I paid $5-$6 "economy" shipping and it took 10 days to arrive.

I ordered a pair of knickers for a Babe Ruth Costume for my son. I followed the size chart exactly but they turned out to be too small. I don't fault Epic for that. Manufacturers have inaccurate size charts all the time.

Despite ordering in plenty of time for my son's school thing, I now was in a pinch to get the replacement as I didn't have another 10 days before he needed them. So I didn't want to just go through the automated thing on the site, I wanted to speak to someone to ask for expedited shipping for a reduced or waived rate since this was not our fault.

I contacted them via online chat... which in itself was not easy. Its as if they absolutely do not want to speak to people as they made every effort to force you through an automated service of some kind. And I could not find a phone number anywhere.

Once finally in touch with an agent, I was told to submit an exchange request but to specify that they were "damaged," due to the size being inaccurate as it could be a defect... or just inaccuracies with the chart are considered "damage," she said.

Ok fine. I can do that.

I followed the instructions, along with their request to send PHOTOS of the pants with a measuring tool along the waist to show that they are actually narrower than the size chart indicates.

Kind of strange but whatever. I could certainly comply since the pants were indeed about 2 inches smaller than the chart indicated.

I chose "replacement" from the drop down and added comments with the size I wanted and asked for free quicker shipping as mentioned above.

To their credit, Epic had a response in my inbox less than 24 hours later, and included a notification that a replacement order had been placed for me.

The problem was, it was for a replacement of the SAME size pants. Even though I'd clearly stated in my remarks that I wanted to replace with a specific larger size. Adding insult to injury, the order included a $6 charge for that same 10 day economy shipping that I specifically said I have no time for now.

I tried to modify the order but the site wouldn't allow it because of the pending status.

FOR.THE.LOVE.

At this point I'd had enough. I canceled their stupid useless order and sent a nasty gram email back. I never do that but this is so annoying. It should not be this hard to exchange a pair of pants. It is 2023 for crying out loud.

I just ordered the exact same brand/color/style pants, in the size I wanted, for the overall same price on Amazon. They are technically more but with the free shipping, the total washed out with what Epic would have charged for the replacement item plus the cost of their ridiculous economy shipping.

And, Amazon will have it on my porch in 2 days rather than 10+.

AND, If I have to cancel or exchange, I can do so very easily in about 4 seconds via their site.

Equally annoying is the first pair of pants, that was $15 + $6 shipping, can still be returned, but the return shipping will be at my expense.... Collectively, the shipping will equal almost the cost of the pants when its said and done.

Not worth it! I'll just cut my losses and sell them at a consignment place or a yard sale.

I won't order from this site again. The headache of trying to return/exchange something far outweighs the benefit of the sweet prices. Absolutely not worth it. Every other site makes this process so quick and easy. You get what you pay for! Cheap places like this always have the worst service if you have a problem.

Its too bad because the items themselves were very nice quality!

What happened to my order?

"On September 10, I placed my order on the Epic Sports website for a volleyball stand pad. I received email confirmation for the purchase the same day. I paid extra for it to be delivered by September 20, in time for our next volleyball match. A few days later, my credit card was charged for the purchase.

On the morning of Sep 20, my order hadn't arrived yet. So I decided to track the order to see when it would be delivered. After calling, emailing, and chatting on the site, (I NEVER reached a human.) I found out the order was never started in the first place. Finally, I got an email stating my order was initiated and on the way. No apology. No offer of extra help. If I hadn't reached out to Epic, no one would have noticed it was never sent.

The pad was finally delivered on Sep 28, more than a week after our final volleyball match.

Poor Customer service

"Received email from Epic Sports, how was the product? Advised that I had not received it yet.
Response: we'll research/ track the package. A few days later, no response, I checked my Ring cameras and Advised, there was no activity on the date you claimed delivery. Plus I checked with UPS driver, Nothing. Your response, we will refund you, takes 6 7 business days. I didn't check to see if the refund was processed. I really wanted the shirts and your customer service agent didn't offer to re ship, or provide an explanation for the the issues involved.
