"Over the Summer I bought a yellow porcelain mug from their site to give my daughter to take back to college. I bought ahead of time and gave it to my daughter in mid August before she left. I went to visit her 9/20 and while in her place was going to use the mug for a drink. It had a crack the whole way around near the bottom of the mug and the crack was not only on the outside but the inside too. I threw that mug in the bin as it would have totally broken sometime when hot liquids were poured into it - not safe to use.
I sent pictures of this mug and explained how she had only used it barely 4 weeks (and it cracked sometime during that time) but I got a standard email response saying its too long after your purchase for us to do anything. So they sell rubbish products and have rubbish customer service and yes my items took a long time to arrive too so while the order may have been placed a while ago I did not receive my order for quite sometime (probably July) and then the mug was a gift so not used until mid August......"
"Wow, terrible reviews for this store. So I tried to order from this store many times now, and could not. I've tried to order $30 worth ETS brand loose leaf tea, before tax and meeting the requirements (i.e. not customized item), and online did not remove the shipping fee. I contacted the live chat customer service (spoke to Daniel & Sam) and they could not help me. They didn't even know what "customized items" were. So I called as suggested, and after pressing heaps of numbers to speak to a live rep, the live rep told me he couldn't help me and asked me to write down a customer rep e-mail. I said I had to walk back into the office to get to the computer so I can type down the e-mail and he said he couldn't wait for me and had to go. Wow."
"I ordered Indian Spiced Chai, Organic Darjeeling, and Irish Breakfast. I used even more than the recommended amount and steeped the tea for the required time. Each of the teas has no flavor at all. I used kettle boiled water, to no avail. I will be putting all of the teas in the compost. "Customer service" was no help at all - they referred me to the warehouse."
"Ordered 6 or 7 items for an English Christmas stocking & everything showed in stock (plenty on the site had out of stock status & I avoided those). 3 weeks later & one item is still not shipped & is out of stock. Additionally, what was in stock took 10 days to ship "economy/ best way". Around the holidays, when someone is buying Christmas candy....you would imagine a business would use Priority shipping (since it was $6.00 for a tiny box). Will not use this website again. "
