TRY EBAY FIRST or go to the store or a local store in person. Online shopping from estarland is a gamble.

"I recently bought two consoles with trade in credit and they sent me the wrong versions but at least I got a return shipping label. The games I bought with my trade in credit had damage to the cases. I received one game with a badly cracked case that needs to be replaced. Their live support is not working anymore and you may have to wait or call to get an issue resolved. I am not patient and called in a couple of days to get my issue resolved. I liked the live support where you typed to them better.

Last year I bought a ps2 from them and I noticed the usb ports were dirty. The outside was dirty and the inside where you put the game was dusty. It worked but it was not gonna last long in that condition. I took it apart and it was filthy with dust. The area where the fan blew air to cool the chip was clogged with hair and dust. I had to wash out the case and use canned air and alcohol to clean the board.
I bought a ps3 from them and the discs got scratched. When I picked it up I could hear a piece or pieces of dirt moving around. I took it apart and had to clean it. There were also some dead roaches, mold, more dust etc.

If you buy one game they will send it in a padded envelope and that is fine except that it might get broken depending on the distance it has to travel or the usps or ups handling, but if you order multiple games, they will not package them correctly. I once bought a gamecube with some games and the port cover at the bottom of the gamecube was cracked a bit but the gamecube worked fine. They do not use bubble wrap or any good cushioning.
I once received a case and there was no game. I had to contact their live support and they sent me a replacement. The replacement did not work. I had to send the game back and the third time it worked.

Discs, cases, and manuals will be in good to very good condition but if you want like new, then shop on ebay.
They have a very good professional buffer that wont leave scratches or swirly marks that let people know that a disc was scratched or used to be a rental disc but you might get a disc with a rental label stuck on the artwork. The problem is that some deep scratches cannot be buffed out completely. They do not give you trade in credit for discs with scratches and I have a hunch that they resell games they do not accept and instead of trashing them, they buff them. If you buy a loose rare game from them, it was probably a rental disc that was really scratched that they did not accept trade in credit. I once got a game that skipped and the disc looked perfectly smooth with no scratches. I looked at the disc very closely under a light source and I found a tiny long soft groove and that was causing the disc to skip. I once got a loose game that did not work at all and I thought it was the ps2 I had gotten fixed but it was the disc, which I traded back to them and they gave me credit. I know it was the disc because I took the ps2 to the store that fixed the console and they gave me the same copy of the game and that worked.
I can only conclude that they probably do not test game discs and only look at them.

If you buy a game with a cardboard box, it will most likely get bent or damaged in transit and the chances increase depending on how far away you live from them.
They offer more trade in credit than GameStop but estarland prices have risen a bit.
I think that if you shop online at estarland you are taking a risk. You might get an issue with a console or cases that are not in good condition.

Games arrived in horrible condition

"Ordered a lot of games and everything arrived in bad condition.

Cases broken, artworks with water damage, ripped manuals and damaged cartridge labels.

Contacted the company and they agreed to issue a partial refund (instead of replacing the damaged items), but the refund was not a refund, but a store credit!

This company is an absolute joke, completely unprofessional, sell you damaged goods and the process to return is complicated, and takes them several days to get back to you.

I will never be buying from this company again!

False advertising plus games that don’t work

"I bought gow saga they had it listed as 5 games no where did it say anything about dlc on top of that the second disc didn’t work anyways so I was expecting 5 and got 2 and when you contact them expect attitude and snarky comments. I’ve worked at tons of customer based jobs it blows my mind that people expect to get customers money with that type of disrespect."

Terrible Shipping

"Don't get me wrong, I love the game I bought (used Okami) and I'm happy I have it, just the shipping means were very questionable. I paid for two-three day shipping, and instead had to wait ten days. When I received my package, it was in a giant cracked and horrible looking envelope which was also cellotaped, with it inside a disc sleeve between one piece of folded up cardboard. The site at the time of purchase did not state it had no box, so when I saw a terrible looking envelope I was mad but luckily the game still works. I would not recommend this company again for their coverup on this matter, and their terrible shipping. Use Amazon or a professional company with professional shipping, not what cheap stunt they pulled."

Poor customer service, but hopefully getting better

"Up until last week, I had no trouble with EStarland. However, my last order from them did not ship when it should have and is still "processing". The problem is customer service live chat is down and they won't respond to my emails or pick up the phone. I have no idea what their issue is, but I wish they would resolve it and send my order. Edit: The item was out of stock and they finally responded to my email and shipped the order."

Games on shelf / in store may already be sold

"Went to this store two different times, I live out of state, both times I looked around the store and found a few games I wanted to buy. Get to the cashier and was told they were already sold via their online store. One game was sold two days prior. Why are these games not pulled right after someone purchases them? Very frustrating!"

This place is trash.

"I ordered a game. I waited several days for it to ship. Nothing. So I contact customer service, they said the game is no longer available and I can either get credit or a refund. I chose refund. It never came. I contacted customer service again about this, no response. I contacted them AGAIN. No response. This place is a **** and I hope they get removed from online business for being so useless."

I don't know if these are new people, but...

"I am having the most lamest experience with eStarland. Now when I order their products, I am still waiting for their game, BRAND NEW, to ship to my hometown. They don't even tell me what is going to with the shipping, I have to ask them what is going on, and not through email anymore. I don't think I should bother with them.

I have no idea what is going on with eStarland. I use to buy from them and they were cool about it. What's going on, eStarland?!

1 Item from my order wasnt removed/cancelled.

"I ordered 2 new games from Estarland Sep 28th. I came to realize one of the games was in my library already so I called up the order department at noon because thats asap you can call them at. I explained my order wasnt processed yet and I wanted 1 game cancelled, I was told no problem. I got my order Sep 30th and it came with both games brand new not damaged so that a plus but now I have to return the damn game that was supposed to be canceled!

So I called Oct 3rd ask what the hell happened and that I wasnt happy. The order department checked the system and it was suppose to be cancelled. So Im sending it back usps with signature required upon delivery so they cant say they didnt get it. Lets see if I get my paypal refund back or not. Supposedly I'm getting the full return amount and not being deducted 15% for restock fees and shipping price because it was their mistake, if you don't see an update post consider everything actually worked out like it was suppose to. That will be my 1st and last time shopping on line through them.

Return update..........
So I returned my game I got an email oct 6th saying they got the return and within 72 hours the correct department would contact me and give me a ticket number well its oct 13th and guess what?.... I was not contacted so guess who's going to have to call to get this straighten out today?
