Misrepresentation

"I ordered from this company and was told that my order would arrive by 12/23. When it did not I called the company and was told ,”print a picture and wrap it up”. REALLY! By the end of the conversation I was told it was my fault! This is unacceptable from any company. Too bad their customer service is awful. Won’t buy from this company again. "

Horrible Customer Service

"In light of holiday shopping i tried to put in an order for Christmas. I was not given the option of fast delivery and the company is unable to cancel the order and fix it. i called and tried to see what my options were.. only to find out i have to make another purchase. Thank you for ruining my Christmas! I will never order from this company again!"

Overpriced, extremely deceptive advertising

"Went to the new store in cool springs, TN. Bought a flannel shirt that was advertised as "all flannel 30% off" at check out was told it "was flannel pattern but not really flannel. The sale flannel is on the other side (cashier points)." My friend however had just bought one of those flannel shirts and was told it wasn't really flannel either, so it wasn't on sale. What a coinkidink! Two different flannels, not really flannel so not on sale! Wow! Doubt I'll ever go back."

BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SKIMPILY MADE CLOTHING

"Bad business practices for Alaskans. They send Smart Labels for returns to other states but not Alaska or Hawaii. They'll never get my business again. Besides, they scrimp on the sizing of their clothes."

Woul like to give 0 stars

"Fire hose pants r a joke .Do NOT hold up to the rigorous work I do.the commercials they have for these pants suggest nothing can compare to the quality and comfort as well as longevity So I didn’t mind spending a small fortune on work pants because they will last forever. Total BS complete garbage,croch ripped out within 2 weeks.never again- keep your overpriced junk!"

Not a honest company

"I received their catalog today & was looking thru it...I came across a pair of boots from Born Trinculo Ankle Boots for $21.95 !!! So I was sooo excited to see that incredible low price that I immediately called them to order these boots! Well I spoke to a customer service person & as well as a manager- well they WOULD NOT honor that price!! They said it was a printing error.... okkkkkk .... the manager offered me 30% off - IS SHE kidding me???!! Seriously?! Well this was the 1st & LAST time I will deal with them!! A VERY DISHONEST COMPANY! Stick with Lands End and / or LL Bean!!!! Those 2 companies are the best! Never stray from the BEST!!! A very disappointed customer "

Duluth Trading has become another brick and mortar victim bleeding to death

"In just a few short years it seems as though the companies additional retail site expansions did not bear them fruit. The no bull guarantee has largely gone, well, .... bull$&@“ ! They no longer back their high priced products with a no questions asked life time guarantee. A move which for this consumer, and I’m certain for most others, will accelerate the death of this struggling retailer. Alas another victim of the impending brick and mortar death spiral. Big mistake Duluth trading. You will be gone soon due to your stingy move to not honor your trademark no bull guarantee, a “guarantee” which turned out to be nothing but bull$&@“ !"

"I had an unexpected and happy experience at the Pittsburgh store. A pair of firehose pants that I have worn hiking for several years started to unravel in a couple places. I was going to toss them, but decided to stop at their new retail store and complain. To my surprise, they cheerfully gave me a new pair with no hassle at all. I did not have a receipt, as they were a Christmas present several years ago. Very satisfied customer."

Shipping Rip Off

"Ordered 2 pair of underwear and paid an outrageous $9.00 for shipping, I needed them as a gift and figured for $9.00 they would arrive in a timely manner. Still don't have them, with fingers crossed for a Tuesday delivery, which is 11 days later! I could have walked them here in less time! Too bad, good product, but will not be ripped off this way again!"

Credit card mix up then they wanted to charge us to return a wrong order they sent.

"First issue was them confusing my info with someone else's. We had to keep calling them and ended up having to cancel and order a new credit card because they kept confusing our info with someone else.
A manager finally called me to apologize.

This most recent time they set me somebody else's 2 shirts, so I assumed my $200 order was sent to somebody else. While talking to the CS rep she let me know 2 of the original items are now out of stock. I called back to see if I could order the other version of the same items at the sale price I originally paid At first they said no, then they said yes (only to have it be no again)

I dropped off the 2 shirts sent to me in error back to the store. Come to find out later it's on my account that they were charging me for an "easy return label" Even though they send me the wrong order.
Got that straightened out but then get a call saying there was a confusion and a problem with the 2 substitute items and the billing. Bottom line, it was not taken care of. By this time, I told them to just leave them off the order.

Most of the original order arrived several days later and I'm happy with them, but damn I'm disappointed with the confusion and being on the losing end of it.

As a small extra bummer bonus the replacement order no longer qualified for the small cash back bonus I was getting because they had to do everything via phone, making the cashback website invalid.

Something isn't right.

"Price on website wasn't price charged. It took 5 days for them to even process the online order. I called twice. Both times she said I am sorry, this must be your first order. It goes through several Warehouses in Nevada before it's shipped. I received 3 weeks after placing online order and paid for shipping. I have not found an area on their site or was I mailed a link on how to leave product reviews. I asked how in an email and no response as if yet. How are people posting reviews on their site?"

Great Merchandise but DEPLORABLE Shipping

"I like Duluth's clothing, especially underwear because its solid made, and it lasts a long time. However, I just hate it when I need to order something from them. Their shipping is HORRIBLE. It takes forever for them to process orders to get them ready for shipping and then, they use the cheapest, slowest shipping option they can find. It doesn't matter if you get a free shipping deal or if you pay for it. Expect to wait about 2.5 to 3 weeks to receive your order. It's not unusual for it to take longer. With SurePost and SmartPost, the item is shipped to a USPS facility, and it's not uncommon for them to let it sit in a warehouse for several days before finally getting around to delivering it. This ain't Amazon! Not long ago, I paid A LOT extra for two-day shipping. It was delivered two days after Duluth shipped it, but they didn't get around to shipping it for 9 days. I received it 11 days after ordering. When I called customer service, I was told that it takes time for processing, and that they only guarantee that I'll receive the package within two BUSINESS days (weekends don't count) of shipping. You'd think that a company as big as Duluth Trading Company could do MUCH better than this. I keep hoping that someday their products will become available through Amazon or some other site whose shipping practices are more in line with THIS century."

Coupon reimbursement!!!

"Had the most wonderful experience with the customer service number!!! Best customer service of ANY other that I've ever had to call! My husband purchased $350 worth of clothing, and we got a coupon in the mail a couple days later! They reimbursed us for the FULL 20%!!! AMAZING! Truly amazing! Not to mention the 2 representatives I worked with were both outstanding! Extremely courteous, spoke very clearly, easy to understand, and sounded like they really enjoyed their jobs! Lucky to have them! Thank you so much Duluth Trading! So for all the exclamations but it was THAT great of service!!!!!!"
