Wow. what is going on?

"I have ordered several times from Drink Up NY(last time was spring of 2017). Always ordered multiple case lots 12 to 36 bottles of imported and aged Rum. Always took 2 to 3 weeks and I understood because it took time for them to fill orders due to backorders. I always got what I ordered even though it did take longer than normal. As of this date (5-2-2018), I am having problems going to their website. Have they closed down? Hope Not!"

Terrible, terrible and even more TERRIBLE!

"I placed an order in August, was billed immediately and then was told their distributor was out. I waited and when I asked for an update, was told that they no longer could ship to my state. Now that they promised a refund, I have not received one. They have stopped responding to my emails and when I called, the number is no longer in service. I plan to contact the BBB on these scam artists."

They’re scammers

"I order three bottles of liquor my total was $88. It’s been 3 months I have not received my order nor my refund I’ve sent countless messages and called the so called customer service number no response. It’s sad that this company will cheat consumers whom are the reason you have a business,out of they’re money. I believe the good reviews are written by them. Too many bad reviews."

"placed order and they took money from credit card... never received my items!! website has been under construction for weeks now. someone responded to my emails saying that my state does not allow them to ship here anymore and was told they would refund my money.. that was over a month ago!! Now they don't even respond to emails! its robbery!!"

Poor Performance & Lack of Customer Service

"I placed an order on 8/18/17 and waited until 8/29/17 to check on the status of my order. The website chat representative said he would check and told me it was still in processing. When I asked what is typical processing time and he indicated 5 days so I asked why it was still in processing. He did not know why but said he would notify his buyers of my questions. I then checked my credit card statement and noticed the company processed the payment on 8/22/17 without ever shipping the purchase or notifying me that the items were delayed for some unknown reason. I find that a company that is charging people without providing the items purchased as deceitful and unethical. I immediately requested a refund and a cancellation of the order and I caution anyone from doing business with a company that takes payment without providing the products ordered nor a communication to the buyer of delays in their order. "

Weeks of excuses

"Unfortunately, I had to cancel the order because it was apparent I would never receive the 4 bottles of Senior "Curacao of Curacao" Blue Liqueur ordered on July 12th, 2017. Every week it was one excuse after another...here they are:

Thank you very much for the order and we apologize or the delay as our distributor has been on a state mandated shutdown to submit inventory to the government. We will ship your order out as soon as they resume operation.
8/2/17
Thank you very much for the order and we profusely apologize for the delay as our importer is having some unforeseen logistic problem with the Senior "Curacao of Curacao" Blue Liqueur. However, your order will go out in about a week and we will upgrade your shipping.

Scam!

"I ordered a 42$ bottle of pisco on 7/19. On top of of what I payed for the 42$ bottle I got a 20$ charge for shipping. I remember thinking okay if it's that much for shipping it must be express shipping. Man was I wrong. So a couple of weeks go buy and I completely forgot I even ordered it until today. I logged on to drinkupny to see what the hell happened to it, and it says the order is still processing! I'm now contacting my credit card company and stating this joke company as fraud and getting a refund. It's a scam!! I just wish I looked up reviews before purchasing. Don't do it!"

Horrible service

"They are so rude, it's shocking. I emailed asking if they carried a certain spirit and they said they could special order it if I was interested. I said yes and that I would want 2 bottles. They said it would take a month and to check back then (it certainly would have been nice if they offered to contact me when they received it). I asked if they could in fact contact me when it arrived and they said yes.

I took it upon myself to email one month later and they had not ordered it because there was no special order made. What???? I sent them the email thread and they just wouldn't admit that they messed up and didn't order it. Asked if I wanted to order it and if so, they would need a credit card. I asked if they could confirm the vendor had it in stock and they could ship immediately - since I had already waited a month. Their response was that ... "as mentioned before this is a special order, yada yada yada." Not only were they rude, they didn't even confirm that the product was in stock with the vendor. Who would ever want to do business with service like this for god sakes. Horrible, really horrible.

Excellent Experience

"I had read all kinds of bad reviews about this company after placing my order online. I was pleasantly surprised when I received an order confirmation immediately. After a couple of days I decided to call and check on my order. I left a voicemail and email. Within a day I had a response to both with an ETA for my shipment. While it did take a couple of days to process the order, they helped make up for that by shipping my order 2-day service. The packaging job for the bottles was also excellent. While others may have had a bad experience with DrinkupNY, I had a great experience. I will shop here online again in the future."

Horrible Experience

"Ordered a bottle of Mescal around Christmas. Package was never delivered. After numerous back and forth with the shipper and DrinkupNY, I was told that I could either be refunded, minus the cost of the shipping back to DrinkupNY, or I could pay that shipping, PLUS the cost of shipping yet again to the original recipient. This was never in any terms that I signed, but since my credit card was already charges initially, there is no leverage that you as the customer have in this situation. Bottom line, DrinkupNY is a terrible option for online liquor sales. DO NOT USE. Find another, more reputable business."

Incompetence

"STAY AWAY" from this company it will take a month to receive your order they will lie to you over the phone every time and tell you it's on its way they will never give you a real answer, also they will never show you a tracking #, they are a bunch of liars and they s*u*c*k* balls. "This place is a disgrace to the retail industry - they provide no telephone number to actually reach anyone in their business, only a person who takes messages, they charge your credit card and do not provide the goods ordered and then provide no refund. I have been emailing and calling for 7 months and still no call back or response to my email. My order was or a bottle of Japanese Whiskey which was $289 and they have my money and I have no bottle! Is this the correct way to do business - I am surprised they are still trading."
