"I ordered some Sdramm for my Dell Dimesnsion 8200. I was promised delivery in 10 days. 15 days passed and I emailed them to find out what happened to my order. A full day later they emailed back that they would look into it. The next day they tell me that it is backordered and no date when the memory would be in. On Jan 22 I emailed them again to see what the staus was on my oder and they emailed me back the next day that it had been canceled! No notice - Nada Stay away from this company."

"Purchased a MagicStor 2.2GB microdrive for the best price on the internet. I even got free shipping with a coupon code. It took 10 days to get here, but that is what the estimate for free shipping is. Also, the price on their site increased $12 so I can't really complain, could I?"

"I paid for 2nd day shipping and thgey sent it US mail. When I finally received the shipment, it was the wrong product (compact flash instead of secure digital).

I am now working with them to try and resolve their screw-ups.

"Just placed my first order with Digi4me. I had read the reviews offered herein, and because of their recent ratings dip, I decided to tell them, in my online order comments box, that I was a Reseller Ratings member. My intention of mentioning ResellerRatings was to notify them that this order as going to have an impact - on my future use of their services.

The order was delivered very quickly, as I had requested and purchased 2 day delivery; package arrived on day #2.

The order was for a MMC card reader and 3 SmartMedia memory cards, all arrived safely, though I could have asked for a box as opposed to the cardboard letter sized envelope which they used - the card reader was about the size of a cue ball, and made for a very bulged package. This package was not refused by the shipping company, so at least someone felt it was adequately packaged.

The products I purchased are as advertised, in good gondition, new (not used or pulled from equipment), and I'm completely satisfied.

Despite recent low reviews, I would purchase again, but when I do order, I will again mention my Reseller Ratings membership.

One point to consider, my Reseller Ratings comments might never have been read by anyone.

"I ordered a Lexar Media Memory Stick (MS-256LR) from Digi4me.com because they were one of the few stores that would have it in stock. They advertised on the website that they would receive more on 10/3/03.

The transaction went smoothly, but I heard no news. Finally, 10/7/03(!) they email me and tell me they cancelled my order because they were out of stock!! It's fine for you to be out of stock, but don't falsely tell people you will have some! I could not get this product for my wife's birthday because it took them a week and a half to figure out they would not have it after all!

"One of the worst shopping experiences ever. Nearly impossible to get them on the phone & don't return e-mail. They sent me the wrong item, then they claim they didn't have the item they supposedly sold me, so I asked for a refund. Eventually I got a refund for my purchase price, but they stuck me with the shipping charges to return it after they made it seem like they'd refund the shipping charges too. "

"Ordered 1 stick of memory at a really low price just to see if they would send one before ordering more. They claimed that the post office could not verify the address that I have been using for two years now with no problem. Obviously they didn't have the product that they were advertising. They stated that they would issue me a full refund in 1 to 2 days. It was ordered on July 31. It is now September 15th. Guess what - no refund as of yet. I will have to go through the credit card company."

"Placed a small simple order on Sunday night for a "basic quality" SODIMM at a great price, received it on Friday, and installed it with great success two days later in my client's machine. Shipping was the PriceWatch free shipping which is quoted as "11-13 business days", but we're within the same state and cannot imagine USPS 1st Class ever taking longer than two days within the 48 continental states."

"9/5/2003 Ordered online 256MB USB drive. Received confirmation in minutes. The email stated that another email would be sent when the product was shipped. They honored the price advertised on www.pricewatch.com and subtracted the $3.99 shipping costs with a coupon code.
9/11/2003 Still no confirmation email. No details on their online store.
9/12/2003 The part arrived in good condition (retail package in manilla envelope). Works great. Apparently, I was too quick to give up on them. Shipping time of 1 week is fine with me. However, not knowing which stage of receiving my purchased product made me nervous. Their terms and conditions state that an email will be sent out with tracking information when the product is shipped. Indeed, that is the general practice with many on-line orders (and telephone orders).
Still no email with any shipping information is frusting, especially when that was their promise.

The PriceWatch web site states, "Shipping rates are UPS/FedEx, insured for residential delivery
USPS, or uninsured or "delayed shipping" quotes are not allowed on Price Watch".
Since their shipping is via uninsured US Postal Service, they are in violation of PriceWatch's policy. In retrospect, a company that deceives its customers does not deserve further patronage.

"I ordered a specific part, memory stick and this company sent me a different part, and marked the invoice as free upgrade. Hardly an upgraded if it is not compatible with the system you ordered the part for. They offer no phone number for contact and they take several days to respond to emails if not more. So, I would rate them at a very poor rating do to not providing the customer with what he ordered and poor or no support. "

"Incredible service. I just ordered two 128 MB Smartmedia cards; they were stolen out of the package by a postal service employee. The postal service refused to compensate; there was no insurance on the package. On hearing what happened, Digi4me replaced the cards, FREE. I could not ask for more; all I wanted was to know if they knew about any recourse against the post office in these situations. They will definately have my buisiness again."

"I ordered 2 pen drives 512 MB. They (probably one single guy in a garage) sent me an email to inform me that my shipping address was not listed with my bank. I called my bank, added the shipping address and sent an email back to say it was ok now. I never received an email back. I never received the pen drives either. Never was able to contact them by phone. And I was still charged for the full amount on my credit card. If anything goes wrong with the order you are likely to get problems with them."

"I received a special email offer from digi4me for a 16MB Smart Media card selling for $2.00. I'm not exactly sure how I ended up on their email list, but in any case I'm always looking for a good deal. After shipping, the total was $5.99. It was easy to find the special offer on their web site and "checking out" wasn't a problem although, they asked for a little bit more information than I feel is necessary for online transactions. I'm sure they're just trying to protect themselves as much as possible from online fraud, so I didn't mind really.

Almost immediately after the purchase, I received email confirmation for my order which included an itemized list of information, charges being made, and email contact information if any problems occurred. The message wasn't very fancy, but it contained all the information I needed and that's all I really care about.

The order arrived 5 days later, which I think is pretty good since it shipped over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The memory card is in good working order and was packed well. The invoice was included, and address information on the outside was easy to read which is a very important detail when companies ship through the US Postal Service.

Overall, I've got nothing to complain about and the transaction went completely as expected. I didn't need to speak to the Customer Service department or get an RMA, so I have a neutral opinion in this regard. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints.
