Service in Golf shop

"I bought a Taylormade driver 2 days ago and the door to get the cover and key was broken. I was told they will call when the door is repaired. 48 hours later no call. I should have bought the club at the local golf shop since the price was the same. aslo when I got there the golf shop sales person was wandering around the store. Overall experience was poor, will not go back to ****'s, will return the club today and buy it at the local golf shop."

"dicks will allow my 20 year old son to die on a battlefield protecting their rights but they will not let him protect his wife at home? they refused to sell him a rifle this week because he's not 21. my kids soccer gear will NOT be coming from Dicks this year, or next year. "

u choose my sport?!

"as an avid sports family, we shop at Dicks Sporting Goods frequently- among the sports my family enjoy is Sporting Clays.
however, your company has chosen to stop selling to my young adult athletes the #1 necessary equipment needed for our family sport - shotguns

Who is Dicks to choose what sports my children choose to compete in and purchase the necessary equipment for.

we have in the past purchased several shotguns and numerous other sports equipment from Dicks... this ends today im sorry to say

i know we are just one family & this will probally have little effect on a large companys bottom line, however this is really our only recourse for a family that is having a so called sporting goods store dictate what sports are appropriate for young athletes to play

"I don't even know why they bother giving an estimated receiving date if their going to honor it. They need to implement a intermediate step which keep us informed as to what's happening. It was frustrating to not have the status update and wonder if anything was happening."

"Ordered shoes from ****'s Sporting Goods online. I could have crawled to the store to in the next state and picked them up faster. Don't order online if you are expecting them soon. Guess that is why they have Amazon Prime.

not for women

"Hmmm went to DICKS looking for women’s hiking shoes!! Apparently women are not a priority at dicks. 700 pair of men’s hiking shoes and 15 pair of women’s. Size 10 thru 12. Next in agenda a swimsuit!!!! Again not a priority for wimwn.. Good grief!!!! Very disappointed ☹️. Went to REI and found EVERYTHING I was looking for!! Thank you REI for giving women a fair shake!!!"

Never Again - This is Why they will be out of business in a year

"I love all of these complaints that mostly seem to be coming from the internet ordering process. It is atrocious. I ordered an item, was told it would be here in 3 day and then 2 days later learned it wasn't even shipped. Tried to cancel my order at this point, for some reason I wasn't able to cancel because they could not tell where in the process my order was. Miraculously I got an e-mail the next day saying my order was unfortunately delayed. Contacted customer service again and was told I still couldn't cancel my order. So basically I will eventually get an order a good week or 2 after I was supposed to get it and customer service was essentially non existent. If this was Amazon, this order would have been cancelled immediately and I would never have been charged, no questions asked. Yet this store must be so desperate for any sale it can get it won't cancel it. This is just one reason of many why this store is going bankrupt and has a steeply declining stock price during great market conditions. I will visit this store once more in my life and that will be to return the product and get my money back once I receive it. Which just leads to one more reason why you are going bankrupt - let's spend the money to ship the product vs cancelling and at least saving money on the shipment. This place has got more holes than swiss cheese and I am sure good ole **** has no idea.
Good riddance **** you won't be missed.

"17 days.....17 DAYS! I ordered ONE fishing rod 17 days ago, and still have yet to receive it. One week after it still sat in
"processing" I contacted their VERY SUB PAR customer service and was told exactly this; "I don't know why it has not yet shipped, it is in stock". Gee thanks, so glad to have wasted my time with you. Furious and will never return to ****'s for life.

Terrible Customer Service

"I visited the Dicks in Legacy Village Store,Ohio this past Sunday and had horrible customer Service. I was looking for a running sports watch and roamed the entire first floor of this Dicks and could not find one person to help. After searching for someone for ten minutes, I went to a cashier and they radioed for someone to help at the sports watch counter. I stood at the counter for another 10 minutes before leaving the store in frustration. All employees were behind the registers ready to ring you up and take your money and no one to help the customers! I ended up at Best Buy and two employees ask me if I needed help before I was even
at the Sports watch department. Then a Best Buy employee spent 15 minutes with me answering my questions and helping with the correct watch for what I wanted. Dicks was all about ringing you up but not about helping the customer!

Worthless as an online store

"****'s just cancelled my online order, apparently because they don't have the inventory to fill it. They sent me an email informing me of this and said to contact them if I had any comments. Of course, I couldn't do it by simply replying to their email. When I did that, it sent me back an email directing me to its customer service page, but when I clicked on the link, it sent me to an invalid internet address. So I found the customer service web page myself, and it doesn't allow a response to the email, only an 800 number. After all that, I will not be calling, only to probably get dumped into a waiting line.

How can a major change have such poor online capability? I won't be buying online from ****'s again.

****'s cancelled my last 2 pick up in store orders, despite indicating that my items were available in the store.

"Never again Dicks. You may be the only game in town right now, but that will change. So the items were in the store and despite me ordering the items, you had an opportunity to sell to someone in person at the store. So, I guess you think I'm gonna go back online and order items to be shipped to my house? I did the first time, but I'm done with this arrogant store."

IGNORED BY SALES STAFF

"just visited Royal Palm Beach store . I immediately selected the sneakers I wanted from the wall and started looking for a sales person - this was at 10:15AM the store was not busy, parking lot wruas nearly empty.
I found a sales rep at the other end of the sneakers dept. and said when your finish I'll be down at the other end.
He politely informed me that there SHOULD be a woman at the mens section.
I search for her and finally located her and requested the sneaker in my size a 9 w a search on her hand held and "no we don't have it, I pointed to choices 2&3 on the wall and was informed no wides available. I asked her what sneakers were available in my size and she said NONE and rudely walked away to attend to a different customer. I asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager ... NO he's busy.
Just found exactly what I want on AMAZON FOR LESS and will have it in 2 DAYS!

Do not believe their deals

"I saw a deal of $20 off for one day if we spend over $100. I ordered a shore for $150. They did reduce the rate by $20 but added a tax of $10.71. So, I got only $9.29 off. The next day when I tried to order the same shoe, the tax vanished. I have only one question to Dicks. Why do you want to fool your costumer. You could have just given $10 off."

"They sell junk, and don't care. Once you hand them money, you're SOL. My advice- if you do have to shop there, rip open everything and make sure it works perfectly before you leave the store.
