"I ordered some dvd headrest from them. They never told me they were not in stock. After waiting a week, I contacted them and they said my order should ship early the next week. I contacted them a couple more times and they just kept saying they hoped my order will ship tomorrow. After nearly 2 weeks with no shipping confirmation, I decided to cancel my order and buy from someone else. Magically, my order is ready to ship the next morning. They only offered to cancel my order when I contacted them, not to make it right! Check their shipping FAQs on their website; they did not do anything according to their policy when dealing with my order.

I was able to communicate with Dealer Cost Car Audio much better today. They promptly canceled my order as originally requested and sent a gift code worth $30. It turned out that the other merchant I ordered from after my cancellation notified me that they had to back order. Dealer Cost Car Audio still had my original order on hand and swiftly processed a re-order with the $30 code. Within a short time, I had a shipping confirmation and tracking number. They followed up to ensure I had the confirmation. They made this experience right! I've updated my ratings to reflect my most recent transaction."
"I had a fantastic experience with dealer cost car audio. At first after I ordered I went online and read some reviews which weren't good. I then started to get concerned and sent an email to dealer cost car audio on a Saturday and got a response back from them within 30min of sending. Their responsiveness and professionalism was outstanding my credit card didn't get charged until the product shipped and I got email confirmation on the exact day dcca said it would ship and I received the exact day they said I would. Not sure if the people who wrote bad reviews had a grudge against company or what but I would recommend this company to anyone. And I plan on using them again for any of my audio needs. "

"this place is a joke. prices are great but thats as far as it goes. do not believe anything they say when it comes to their warranty. my touch screen head unit died after 6 months, i called them and they said they had them in stock and one would ship within 24 hours of recieving the defective unit. 3 days after they recieved it i called them and they told me they no longer carried the unit but they were "looking" into the problem and they would call me back. no return call from them. 2 more days go by and i call them again, now they are talking to the manufacturer to find out what to do. once again they will call me back. 3 more days go by with no call so once again i call them and they say "we had to ship it to the manufacturer for repair. i ask them how long, they dont know but will call me back. 2 more days go by and i call them again. now they are upset with me, they have no idea how long it will be. i get an email from them saying "WE SENT IT TO KENWOOD AND WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL BE DONE WITH IT". so my 24 hour turn around is heading into the third week with no end in sight especially since they sent it to kenwood instead of sony."

Shipping, however, was delayed due to high demand, and this was somewhat frustrating. In the end, everything arrived safely and performs well. If you have any problems, they will make things right. The alarm connected to my iphone and was installed so the alarms worked together and separately so it was somewhat complex.
They were super helpful answering my install questions.

"I order a diesel audio capacitor and when it was shipped it never made it to my house. when I called dealercost said they would send me a high capacitance one which would have been great but when I recieved the package it was busted open. Luckily all the parts were still there, not only this but the "higher capacitance" capacitor was some knock off nitro audio. I tried to call both nitro and diesel as well as dealercost but none of the phone lines worked. This pos cap cost 40 bucks and the one I ordered originally was 75. I was not pleased by any thing on this site and I will be going to bbb."
