I never got one single communication about the delivery or shipping status until after I informed them I was contacting the better business bureau and various other websites about their practices. "Be aware of Dealpal.com . I have ordered a Nikon camera case for Nikon D90 on May 7th, I haven't received it after 12 days. The order status on their webpage shows "order received", But I have never seen my order. no respond from email. trying to call customer service, calls directly go to vioce mailbox. notbody answer the phone. left message, but never got anybody to return my calls. "Do NOT buy from dealpal.com. I ordered from them over three and a half weeks ago and still have not had my item shipped to me. Customer service calls go straight to voicemail in every option and the only reply in e-mail I've got was stating that they are trying to locate my item and they would expedite it to me at the end of the week...that was last week and no such thing as been done. I e-mailed back saying I would like to cancel my order and have yet to receive anything back from that. Avoid avoid avoid!!!"
"Horrible customer service. I have made numerous polite inquiries as to the status of my item and all have gone un-answered. I have filed a report with the BBB for a refund.
Update:
I followed the user below me and started emailing the orders alias. With enough persistence, I was able to get them to respond. They did send my item when I threatened to cancel my order via my CC company. It took them about a month but it was sent via expedited shipping (when they finally shipped it) and it was at a good price. Unless you enjoy having to pester vendors for a response to your order, I would not recommend DealPal. Had I not said anything, I don't know if I would have received my order. "
"I was able to get the product (cable modem) shipped after not hearing from them regarding the product. I called and emailed as others have and got the same non-response. On a lark I replied to the "don't reply to this notification-only email address", which didn't get bounced back, and finally got their attention as I had noted I would revoke my credit card charge if I didn't hear from them in short order. Once I got their attention, it was shipped within a couple days from Amazon and was delivered in short order. So in all, it was definitely more of a hassle than I would like to deal with, but the product was as advertised and worked beautifully once I finally got it.
Dealpal seems to be one of at least a couple identical services operating under different names. The support email I got back was actually signed by a smartsubs.com staff member. This would actually be a decent service if this/these companies (dealpal/smartsubs) could get their act together and get their orders out the door from their vendors."
"STAY AWAY! Ordered on 4/20, made a polite email inquiry as to when it might ship, tried calling 4/28 was sent to voicemail THROUGH EVERY OPTION ON THE MENU!!!! Went online to the BBB and filed a complaint, then left an angry voicemail for dealpal. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!"
