You need to continuously follow up on you order, because Costco won't

"Orderd online, received confirmation of shipment (through UPS), and credit card was charged with the purchase.

At estimated delivery date, I found out UPS never pickup (there is no package for UPS to pickup).

Following are what I went through:

1. Contact customer services - He told me he filed "return and reship request", and I should get notice of shipment in 2 days.

2. No notice received, so 3 days later I Contact customer services - I was told that they are working on the order, be patient.

3. After 7 days of no notice, I contact customer service- I was told the product is out of stock, and don't know when it will be stock.

4. Customer service rep told me, she can request a "return and refund". I should receive the refund around 7 days.

The issues with Costco.com are -

1. When the product is out of stock, they should inform customer.

2. Product never shipped - but I have to go through "Return and Reship" process; or "Return and Refund" process. Costo need times to verify the return. Each step took week with no results.

3. If I don't follow up myself, Costco customer service told me that my order will be just in limbo. I.e. No delivery and no refund.

Not responsible of doing business!

Too many problems

"I absolutely love Costco. But Costco.com is a different story. Every problem I ever have with Costco is related to online orders. The latest was when I order Juce (a fruit/vegetable powder on promotion). Instead of receiving what I ordered, I received two pairs of ladies jeans. So on my next trip to Costco, I went to get the issue fixed, thinking I would walk away with the items I purchased & return the items that were misdelivered. NOPE! Instead, I was told the return the items to the store for a credit & call Costco.com to have them replace the order & honor the price. I did exactly what I was told. I called Costco.com & spent 30 minutes on hold before I could get any help. Then I was told that I should not have returned the items to the store, I should have contacted Costco.com. I was making their job more difficult. I was placed on hold so they could push the order through. After being on hold for another 10 minutes, I was told they could not place the order. I would have to place the order for full price & call them back to ask for the discount. They told me they would "honor" the discount as if I had missed the promotion to begin with. This was 100% a Costco.com issue and I'm being forced to jump through hoops to get my order at the original price I paid. Costco needs to fix this disconnect right away!"

We will never shop there ever again

"BEWARE!!!! When you go to the Costco in Sharpsburg and attempt to purchase a membership, they will bully and force you into upgrading to the “premium” membership for $120. Don’t do it!!! It’s all a bunch of bull. When you tell them, “NO”, they are going to try to convince you that you are making a bad decision. They will push and push and push. It’s quite obvious when they are trying to force and bully you into getting the upgrade, things are not on the up and up!!!!"

"we love shopping for grocery there and enjoy lots of wholesale stuff which comes with 6 pack or 12 pack for drinks and bread. it was good price and the food was fresh, we go there weekly and enjoy it very much "

Scam Alert!!!

"CAUTION!! If you are offer a “promotion” when opening your membership at the store DO NOT TAKE IT! Is a scam. I just found out a was a victim of it!!!
I went for a regular membership and the employee feed me FALSE INFORMATION stating that if I open the most expensive one, the executive one, I was going to receive a gift card for the same value of the membership making it essentially Free. Of course I took the deal thinking it was great, but it was all LIES. I just called customer service after receiving a gift card of only $60 (not even half of the cost of the executive membership) and they told me that what my account shows is that the employee opened a gold membership worth $60, then upgrade that membership to the executive one on the same day and then got me approved for the credit card with them. So out of their lies the employee made a great sale with me with a brand new membership, an upgrade to a more expensive one, and a freshly opened credit card on my name. Which looked GREAT on their numbers and quotas and instead of offering me something to make up for the SCAM they just down grade my membership (that I do not need or want anyways), and “apologize” for been “missed informed” by their employee. NOTHING ELSE! Showing just how much they care about their customers. This is why we are now a Sams Club family and NEVER looking back. Costco is just taking advantage of you how ever they can. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY MEMBERSHIP PROMOTIONS FROM THEM.

Never buy an appliance!

"Worst appliance buying experience of my life! They damaged my gas range when loading it and rather than get a different one they tried to deliver it severely dented on the lower left and the top left the range was coming away from the control panel. I was informed by the delivery guys to refuse service for a new gas range and they set up an exchange order. I get contacted via email, not a phone call, that they are sorry but the gas range is not available in my area and they are canceling the order! It took a half hour to get someone on the phone who told me they still had the range but just not “near” me. I said look I’ll wait because it was a great deal. Costco refused and refunded me. A few days later when this fantastic sale was over they all of a sudden had restock in my area! They won’t do anything about it either. I got Walmart service here at best."

Tires

"Purchase tires with a 65,000 mile warranty tires only lasted 30,000 miles Costco would not honor the warranty. Tires plus who does our regular rotations informed us that we need new tires and the tread was below state law minimums. After getting denied from Costco we ended up buying new tires from tires plus. "

Do not order flowers from Costco.com.

"Not only were the flowers a day late in delivery, the box was smashed down like someone stepped on them but my note to my wife for Mother's Day was not included in box or under shipping label. Also many pedals, flowers and leave had fallen off during shipping. The flowers were very old."

Worst logistics company

"They where supposed to do a delivery for Sears, they came up the door and did measurements they say it doesn't fit and they wont take off the door, in the meantime they will go back to the truck and check the measurements of the new fridge, in the meantime i took of the door and was waiting for them to come back, and... I'm still waiting,,,,, they just fled the scene and left me without the fridge which I'm waiting already 2 months and without a door on the house."
