They have all sorts for food items, beverages, wines, beers and sweets that are imported from other countries. I love buying good quality spices, teas, coffee, sweets, jewelry and gifts here. My favorites are German, Canadian, British and Japanese candy, German cookies, eastern spices, Wild Rose tea, chocolate chai, scone mixes, vintage soda pops & beers, Asian & Italian cooking, unique jewelry and artwork, kitchen kick knacks...these are many of the thing I've bought from this store and loved them all. "Expect broken products, horrible basically non existent packing material and a sad day when your order arrives. I was told they'd replace item and got a confirmation email to expect it in the next 4-10 days. It never came. After waiting on the phone, calling them myself way after the time it should have arrived. I was told they were out of stock and they do not inform customers on re-orders if the order gets cancelled for any reason (CANCELLED, WHAT???). They also did not issue a refund until I requested it. I guess they planned to steal from me. I had hoped to be a new world market regular and now I have no desire to shop there. The customer service seemed like they could care less. It sounded like a bored teen texting there friends on the other end probably wearing a beanie with a nose ring. Nothing professional happened in that call. "
"I purchased two chandeliers from World Market. My electrician has hung several light fixtures in my home including the 2 fixtures I purchased from World Market. One of the World Market fixtures had a wiring issue, and only illuminated 3 of its 5 bulbs, and the other was missing 2 of the small tubes that cover the wiring at the base of the light bulbs. There is no parts department for lighting at World Market and any missing pieces require the fixture to be shipped back and a new one resent until you get one that works and has all its parts. And if the fixture was purchased in a World Market store the fixture must be returned to a store. I live 45 minutes away from the nearest location and can't get the 2 small cosmetic tubes sent to me that 1 of the chandeliers I purchased was missing. So now I have to have the electrician come back and take this chandelier down again so I can drive 45 minutes to their store and they can do a complete return. This is a prime example of getting what you pay for. World Market has no business offering lighting products since this is the low level customer service support they are offering for their fixtures, and the fixtures are very cheaply made. I will not buy lighting from World Market again and highly recommend you don't either. "
"Rather a mess as the store had large overloaded pallets filled with merchandise in the aisles and very little help working on these pallets. The store was busy and little help around. The pallets were blocking the merchandise. The cashier was oblivious of her surroundings and did not know the store or your products."
"Overall, my experience was good. I ask an employee about a product, an even though they didn't have it, she was courteous and nice. The cashier was distracted with another cashier who was asking her questions, but she was also courteous."
