"I ordered a custom x1 control on the 2nd of march, after reading the 7 to 10 day build, test, paint and ship statement. On the 14th of march I called their customer service department and spoke with "matt" to find out why online it stated my controller was still in the paint stage (where it had been from the 3rd). He stated there was an issue with their scanning procedure and it was actually in the clear coat stage and they had sanded through the clear and it had to be redone. I asked how they could make this right as it was a gift for my nephew on the 17th and it was already passed the 7 to 10 day time frame. He told me there was nothing that could be done because they couldn't over night it (I had already paid for the 2 to 3 day shipping), I said that was pretty unacceptable and he said that "they could just cancel my order and refund my purchase in 2 to 3 weeks". Again I said that also was unacceptable so he offered a "free controller case", finally I said that would have to do as when I asked for a supervisor he said there wasn't one until 1230 pm cst. So far my experience is less than stellar for the 200 plus dollars I spent and the customer service was appalling. I was considering purchasing a control for myself if my nephew likes his as was my cousin, but after this experience I think I will most likely shop around. I will update or modify this review if and when it comes in and my nephew tests it out.
Update: 3-17-2016: controller arrived today, no case included. It looks great, seems to work ok aside from the head shot mod he wanted doesn't work on destiny which we were told did. Called them back at their customer support and they are sending the case that was supposed to be with it to make up for the delay initially (also verified headshots mod DOES NOT work in destiny). Overall the product is good, just a few misrepresentations on what it can do per game, which isn't a huge set back, however the turn around time, the first customer support experience and then having to call them back because they failed to send out the case that was their "apology" for the delay will be the reason myself and my cousin will not buy from this company in the future. For the 200 plus I spent on this one, the headache and the poor customer service by Matt initially have done enough to prevent me from being a repeat customer. "

"I would recommend spending $10 to get the "Shipping Insurance" provided. I did not do so as I had never had any problems with USPS, but it is clear that my controller was stolen by them somewhere along the route to my place.
I cannot file a claim with USPS because it was not insured (apparently you need insurance on your packages if you want to protect it from USPS's own employees), and it's unlikely CC will be able to do anything.
I'm very disappointed as I spent $80+ on a controller I was excited to receive, but got nothing more than an empty box.
I unfortunately can't give a fair rating of the product, but let me be an example for people out there. Spend $10 to give yourself a little more of a guarantee of actually getting your product."

For years I have been collecting controllers, from Xbox 360 and PS3 to my Xbox One. I own almost every limited edition controller and my husband has a habit of buying them for me as he comes across them. When he found Controller Chaos I fell in love with the designs. I've purchased several controllers from them, but Midnight Tag is hands down my favorite thus far. It's black with pink swirls and über girly. I especially love that I can further customize my controller to give me that much more of an edge on the competition. The quality of the controllers is top notch. I contacted their customer service on two separate occasions to get some clarity on the modifications, return process (if needed) and shipping times and they were always extremely prompt and courteous. I've recommended them to all of my gaming friends and they've had great experiences, too. "

"I am a member of the XGN pro team. I have ordered three of the controller chaos controllers. One for Xbox 630 (blackout design), Xbox One (predator design) and today received my PS4 controller (big game design) the designs are amazing. I am very happy. There was chipping and bubbling in the paint of my most recent purchase but nothing too noticeable unless you look really close. I have contacted customer support several times and always get a prompt and professional response even when I sent a controller in for repairs and had mods added there was a three to four day turn around and with big name controller companies you don't get that kind of service. I ordered my controller sunday and received it Thursday and even had additional visual mods added. They are a great company and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a standout controller that lasts more then the six months of most other companies. "
