I attempted to buy a digitial camera listed at $489. Added the item to my cart and it showed the same price. However when I continued to shop and added a spare battery, the price of the camera jumped to $525!
Now I understand goofy things can happen to pending transactions when the vendor changes prices. I called them to see if they would honor the original price long enough for me to get through the checkout process.
They said no. (ok, that's their choice). Then they were bold enough to claimed that the item is priced at $525 and hasn't changed in over a week -- this while I am looking at a hard copy of the item showing the lower price."

"I went to order a Sony DSC-F717 digital camera from Computers4SURE's website. They were out of stock and I chose the option to email me when the camera was back in stock. A few days later I received an email that this camera was once again in stock (195 units). I placed the order with overnight shipping before 4pm EST for sameday shipping. At the end of the day I still had NO tracking # or order shipped confirmation. I called their Customer Care Specialist and was informed that they didn't have this item in stock. Sure enough my order now reflects "backordered" and this is when the fun starts. I cancelled the order of $1033.20 and was hoping to see the money back in my account. This is my PayPal account and I only keep money there for purchases online. Now it's been 8 days and my money is still in electronic limbo. Computers4SURE says that they never charged me and PayPal says that they require a fax from Computers4SURE to release the "pending" transaction. I've called Computers4SURE so many times over the last few days and have gotten run-around, hang ups, and so many "can you call back in the morning" that I'm starting to wonder if all the positive posts here are legitimate..
I'm on the phone holding for a manager as we speak (20 minutes so far). Let's hope they can do better than the 10 days they spoke of yesterday. 18 days without funds or camera is just unacceptable.

The order process was automated, confirmation immediate, and then the email saying they did not have the proper billing address was immediate. I called them and spoke with a representative, solved the problem (bank's fault) and was promised that it would be shipped that day. It took two more business days to ship. The speed was good, but not what I was promised. I called the next business day because the web site said processing. I was told that it was shipped that day and I would recieve a tracking number soon. I eventually got the tracking number, but not until it was actually sent. That second representative also promised an earlier delivery than actually happenned. Great prices, good service, but they are not as good as they say about getting things out."
