"I would like to confirm that Compuhq.com practices advertising fraud. They absolutely do not have any of the oem versions of the cpus that I bought. I have tried to purchase two oem versions only to find out later that they do not have it in stock. If they didn't have it they should not have listed on pricewatch.com nor should they allow consumers to purchase it. "

I ordered the video card yesterday (07/31/2003) called and asked if they could rush the order and when I got home today (08/01/2003) the card wa here wating for me. There was no package tampering, all the parts were there, and I am pleased.

"I recieved a defective video card the BFG Asylum FX5900 Ultra 256MB video card that was defective.
I had to pay a -15% restocking fee and shipping both ways.

My advice is not to do business with this company for obvious reasons.

I also need to add that after receiving an rma and returning the video card I never heard from them untill I complained to Price Watch then the ball started rolling.

"Ordered a Barton 2500 XP processor. Got confirmation email and all, but didn't hear anything for a few days. Emailed them inquiring what was going on only to find out that they didn't have the item in stock. They were honest and quick in their reply, unlike many other online retailers. I appreciate that, even though they didn't bother to email me to let me know it was not in stock."

"I will not order from this company again. I placed my order online for a Sony DVD burner, and had it shipped to my office. The office address is registered with my credit card company, I have used it many times to order from the 'net and have items shipped to my workplace. CompuHQ first emailed me saying my address was wrong (which it wasn't) then said I had to notify my credit card co. After two days (for a 2-day shipment), my order left California, headed for the East Coast. The order did then arrive two days later, but the PACKAGING is why I would really never order from them. The DVD burner arrived in the original warehouse package, which was for two units, WITH NO PACKING PEANUTS OR PADDING OF ANY KIND. The retail box was slightly crushed, and likely flopped all around in the box en route, as the shipping box is designed for two units. Thus, the retail box took up only half of the space in the shipping box, the other have was void of any padding or anything.

Between the poor handling of my ship-to instructions and the absolute disregard for any packing concern, I will never order from them again. :("
