The website provided a broad spectrum of products, was easy to use, the order placed with a minimum of process and cost. The UPS delivery was a bit slow, but my need did not require speed. I received the cable today and the quality is entirely satisfactory, surprisingly so. I'd definitely look to CompUSA first for future online purchases, especially those of unusual characteristics."

"I ordered AVG antivirus software. This was to be a download from the internet and all compuserve had to do was send a key via email to unlock the software. After 7 days, I did not get any email. No product delivered. I called Compusa to cancel the order. The representative confirmed the order was cancelled. 2 months later, Compusa took money from my checking account. They still haven't sent any key codes. I called Compusa over 4 days ago and they still haven't credited my account. Nor have they sent any email with the key code. My suggestion "DO NOT TRUST COMPUSA.COM"."
"A TOTAL screw-up after the order was placed. Said item would be shipped 3 - 9 days. After day 5, went online to check delivery status. Item has not been shipped but no notification from CompUSA. Called Customer Service -- said will check and call back that evening or next day..didn't seem interested. NO CALL BACK OR E-MAIL. 1-20-12 in P.M. - called back and spoke with Marvin @ CompUSA. Order still not shipped and would NOT be until sometime after 2-1-12. Asked him to cancel total order...gave me Reference # for cancellations. Received E-mail from Edwin RodriguezBaez w/ Systemax Corp. 1-20-12 saying that order is now being shipped 1-22-12 -- AFTER I have cancelled with CompUSA. Sent E-mail message to Edwin stating that order is cancelled but have not heard ANY response !!! If this comes to my door on Mon. - Tues., it will be sent back and returned to CompUSA !!!"

What turned out to be a hassle was that I had to confirm the order with Systemax. First they send me an email with a sender that went straight into my spam folder. Then I had to wait for ages in the phone loop, listening to static-filled music from what sounded like an AM radio. Once talking to a Systemax agent it turned out that I needed to call them from the phone I had entered on my order. What a pain!! However, the shipping was fast, but the UPS guy just left my new laptop on the front porch - good thing i was home...
In summary - I got the product I wanted at a good price, but the ordering/delivery process will likely keep me from shopping CompUSA online again."
