Worst company ever

"The worst company ever
The worst company ever - bought two pairs of shoes online. When returned them to store, only one pair got returned and the other the store manager said was not in system, despite online return policy said I can do in store return. The Stoneridge store manager also didn’t refund me the tax - when I found out and call him to ask why, he hanged up on me. After that, had to send back unreturned shoes back to them for refund and spent countless hours to chat with customer service to request for refund. Two weeks passed, I still didn’t receive refund for the tax. Call center representatives were pathetic, simply saying their record shows refund being made and refused to do anything further to help. All in all, it is a perfect storm and most terrible return experience I ever had with any company. Worst company, worst online return system and worst customer service, period. Do yourself a favor, save yourself trouble and stay away from this company. Never do business again with them and may they go out of business in no time

Formerly Poor Service Now Worse

"Two years ago I ordered a second pair of dress shoes from Clark's (I have had about 7 pairs total) that did not ship for over a week. Called and was treated very rudely by a customer service agent. Asked for a supervisor and they were worse. Called again the next day and asked for another supervisor and actually got someone helpful who got the shoes shipped, took details on the previous agents and sent me a 50% off coupon. Keep in mind it took 15-20 to talk to someone each time.

Fast forward two years and ordered a pair of casual shoes. 50% off coupon did not work. Ordered anyway because they were already marked down. Again, super slow shipping, almost two weeks to arrive after placing the order. Shoes were the same size as all my other pairs and I could barely get my foot in them. Tried to use the online system to send them back which said select UPS shipping - which did not work. Called 30 minutes, no agent. Called again, 45 minutes to talk to someone who said, they could probably fix it the next day. He was also rude and said originally shipping would not be refunded. Asked for a supervisor who was so condescending and made excuses for the service, shipping, and sizing. Even told me it is always best to try shoes on first. (Since last time I ordered, the nearest retailer of mens Clarks is now 96 miles away!) No offers to help. Finally just chose the USPS shipping options and sent them back.

Called again to speak to a supervisor who apologized for everything but said all he could offer was a 50% off coupon as that was the best thing they could do for my situation. Explained that I got that for a bad agent before and this went much further. When shoes arrived at Clarks they took their full 'six business days' to issue a refund. In the time they were sitting at Clarks I ordered shoes from another company, they arrived, and I took them on a weekend trip and still Clarks had not issued a refund.

Log story short - poor service has only gotten worse and apparently so has the product. No longer a Clarks customer!

Will never shop clarksusa.com

"This store has great choices on their online store but buying and delivery is the worst. They pose one day delivery but take 3 days to start packing. No my shoes were in stock.
When I called, the lady told me she is just the messenger! Really, you are the person the company has put on the other end to answer questions about the online ordering! So I told her to give me the person from whom the message came from. She puts me on hold then comes back on and tells me the reason why they couldn't be delivered is because they were trying to figure out the address given. First what happened to you not finding that info earlier? Second, I put a phone and email on the order so instead of wasting 3 days trying to figure it out why not email or call me?
Now i had to cancel that order since it was to a hotel I was leaving hence the one-day delivery. I made the mistake of re-ordering them to a different address. Wow! 2 days later, it still shows processing. I called them again and the lady on the phone gives me a tracking number showing that someone created a shipping label. That's it! Another day goes by then finally I called and cancelled the order total of 4 days later. I figure with that much effort I could have found pricey comfortable shoes at Macy's or DSW right.
Never shopping on their online store again. If its not in the store then I don't need it.

"DO NOT BUY!

I ordered a shoe from them over 4 months ago from this store. After having a severe issue with the shoe having a hole I quickly called there headquarters for an exchange on 4/8/2014.

After waiting 2 months for the exchange and getting nothing I called them up and they now told me they no longer make that shoe but I can exchange another "shoe for shoe". My original purchase was for $114.99. I quickly went back to there website and began my search. I couldnt NOT find anything in the $114.99 range but I found one for $64.99 and one for $49.99 which met my needs. I called them up and asked them for this exchange. They told me that store policy was I can only do a "shoe for shoe" exchange as they said. The problem is the shoe I returned to them was $114.99 and I would only be getting back my shoe worth $64.99. There is a $50 difference. They told me they can send me the $49.99 shoe in the "FALL" which is in 6 months from now. NO THANK YOU! Fine I thought, well at least refund me the $50 difference. They will NOT even refund the $50 difference saying the "shoe for shoe" exchange is enough.

Do they honestly think this is how the world works? Money has no value to them its just "shoe for shoe" is enough. Ridiculous place. Will NEVER shop here again. Very rude customer service agents Emily and Melanie. Laughing at me for thinking I was right!!!

"Bought a pair of boots, shipping speed is OK, the returns are free to ship but with no tracking number. You need to be patient for the refund because it takes a while. But not problems so far."
