"Had never used this particular company before. Ordered a simple fan/shroud replacement for a Dell Dimension PC. Had a hard time finding it, they had it. Small shipping discrepancy during the order, but they replied to my inquiries lightning fast. Will use them for future commerce."

"It was great dealing with this store. They were very helpful in providing all the details that I required to make the purchase. The goods arrived in excellent condition and within 2 days of the order being finalised. The goods themselves were as described on the website and have performed faultlessy. The Pioneer DVR-K05 DVD Burner works very well in my Toshiba Tecra M2.

"I ordered a slim drive from them for my sony laptop. Their web site said that it would be compatiable with my laptop. Shipped the same day and cc was charged the same day too. Everything was excellent until the package arrived at my doorstep.

I tried to install it into my laptop.

First thing that I noticed was the old faceplate does not fit the new slim drive. They had a link to the manufacture's web site for the product and it was DIFFERENT fom the product I recieved. Feeling a little bit misled, I proceeded to install the slim drive and booted up the laptop. NOTHING happened. No power up. Stumped.... I replaced it with my old slim drive which has trouble reading cds. It booted up fine. I tried to install the new slim drive again and the same thing happened. The laptop would not power up.

This leads me to believe that either the drive came DOA, or it is not compatiable. Products rarely come DOA so I am assuming this is not compatiable. Their web site basically misrepresented the product. I got something different than what was shown on the manufacture's web site AND it was not compatiable with my system (even thou the web site claimed it was).

I emailed them back immediately asking for a return and if it was possible that the restocking fee could be waived since the product was misrepresented (their fault). I had read recipet turned on. My email was read less than 5 minutes after it was sent, but it's been a week and NO REPLY in my inbox. They most likely deleted it. The least they could of done was give me a yes or no answer.

WHAT UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM IF YOU HAVE THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE THE POSSIBILITY OF RETURNING A PRODUCT!

They were quick to take my $ but slow to refund it. It's close to 15 days and the timeframe I have to return my product is almost up. I have a feeling I will not be able to return my product in time because they will claim that the 15 day period is up.

DO NOT DEAL!! STAY AWAY!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, BUT WHEN YOU REQUIRE A RETURN, THEY WILL BLOW YOU OFF!!!

"What can i say.If you need a part fast and you cant get it anywhere else.Centrix International realy should be your first port of call.DONT WASTE TIME SURFING. These guys know a thing or too about customer service.The email support is second to none.The parts are realy good value and top quality.Needed a power supply fast for a DELL 5150c, could not get one anywhere else.Centrix came up with the goods and had it shipped to me in Ireland in 3 days from Pasadena CA USA.Dont take my word for it check the site out for yourself.

"Avoid this Seller at all costs! Extremely dishonest... in the week after my bad review they, have received more total reviews than the 6 months previous. Kinda suspicious?

The seller asked me to change this review, in exchange for the removal of the bad feedback he left for me. This website was contacted as per the use of coersion (to remove the bad feedback that they had left on ebay to get a better review) and they are allowing that to happen. According to the "strict" letter of the rules of this site a seller may not "coerce, threaten, harass, 'strong-arm', bribe, make an offer of money, gift, services, 'freebie', or otherwise influence or attempt to influence
the changing of a review to a positive review, change a written opinion, and/or to remove a review;" an obvious oversight in that I sent in the emails proving the seller used the above mentioned tactics and has not been held accountable!

I purchased a replacement Pioneer DVR-K05 Superdrive drive on eBay for my Apple Powerbook G4 12" 1.5ghz. The drive was listed as being compatible and it is not. The bezel was not compatible, making the installation impossible. Not as described in the listing, others have complained about the same exact problem, and still the seller describes the item the same way. I requested a RMA from the seller the drive was returned on the 14th of this month. I spoke to D.K. and he said theat he was not an Apple expert and that I would be charged a restocking fee (15%). The drive was returned in the exact condition that I had recieved it, misrepresented and still a restocking fee.

The seller stopped responding to my emails, and when I took the time to contact him by phone even more runaround. I am totally disgusted with this seller. They took my money with no problem and I am still waiting for my refund. Terrible customer service. D.K. is both the seller on ebay and the contact for the company. I am taking this action to both protect my feedback rating on eBay and to help others not to be put through this.

(Update two hours later) Instead of expediting my refund the seller left poor feedback on ebay! He was the seller and left the feedback first... instead of facilitating my refund, in retaliation for this review... I had not left the feedback that they had earned at this point.

Terrible Customer service, misrepresented item, Avoid this seller at all costs. Better prices and customer service at other online retailers.

(Update 8/31/06) I was finally able to facilitate a partial refund through the "item not recieved" process on eBay. I contacted the seller J.G., with a request for money, and a complaint to eBay. Only when I did this was I able to get some money back. The person that sent the payment agreed to the bad feedback removal process and then recanted.

They are extremely dishonest individuals. (I believe they are two kids in a garage in California)

I hope that this review helps others, and holds those responsible, accountable for the items misrepresenation and subsequent ordeal.
