I did not purchase from Central Vacuum Stores, I am one of the owners, which demonstrates the lack of integrity of Reseller Ratings, not my company. None of these individuals had to prove they purchased anything from our company, and in fact some I recognize as competitors. Reseller Ratings will not allow me to answer these reviews unless I pay them a rather hefty monthly fee. This review site is basically a shake down. Is there a place to leave a review for Reseller Ratings?"

Purchased a product at the beginning of a month and wasn't told (until I inquired 2 weeks later) that they don't have the item in stock and won't for around 21 business days. They proceeded to tell me how they consistently don't ship things for months, with a rep citing how many outstanding orders they have almost two months old. No where on the site, during the purchase or after, was I explained that I would have to wait over a month to receive my order while the manufacturer drop ships the product through them. Company was happy to charge my credit card as soon as I placed the order though."

"I ordered a fan on their website. everything looked good the price was ok and it was INSTOCK. i received an email the next day after i purchased the item letting me know that they were waiting for it to come to their warehouse from the manufacture...WHAT...that means its not in stock these people are idiots..the ratings here tell u everything u need to know I wish I had seen these before i bought from them. ANYWAY 10 days later still no response nothing they still haven't shipped it to me or anything. :("

"Bought Vacu-sweep, product that was not working correctly, called them staff said yea,we like the Vac-pan product. Why sell the crappy one? Asked if product was purchased over 30 days and yes it was, I bought it in plenty of time for install in kitchen remodel. You can just tell the product is poorly designed and feels like it could snap the plastic toe flap lever when used. Central Vacuum does not stand by what they sell, that is bad business."

"I have been doing online orders for a long time and not once have I ever had as many problems with an online retailer as this one. Said they would email me when it was shipped and 2 weeks later I never received any shipping confirmation. Emailed them to cancel my order and they said it was scheduled to be delivered the next day but they got it rerouted back to them. Said they would email me when my refund was processed and as of now, 10 days later, still no refund or email. Worst transaction I ever made online. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy because I don't think they are worth his/her money."

"Needed to replace a motor on my Vacumaid central vacuum. I called a local dealer, and they wanted about $250 plus $100 labor for installation. Purchased the exact same motor on line with Central Vacuum Stores for less than half that price. It came quickly with free shipping and installed in minutes once the old motor was removed. Very clear instructions and help from the techs there who threw in free couplings without charge. Would highly recommend them."
