"DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CELL HUT!!!!I purchased a LG Viewty for my T-mobile acct. When it arrived not all applications would work & it was clearly a European phone(had a European to Us connector. Obviously, I live in the United states and I require a phone that works here. No where do they mention this. I immediately tried to reach a person at cell hut and the phone is either busy or no one answers. In the meantime I called LG and T-mobile and told them what was happening. They told me there was no way to make it work properly in the US. I then sent an email to Cell hut explaining what happened and they replied fairly quickly telling me they would get back to me. 2 days later they emailed me with a return auth# and told me to pay to ship back with UPS. I paid $12.00 to ship it back to them. It was in the original box they sent it to me in with the RMA # on the outside of the box. When UPS tried to deliver yesterday Cell hut refused to accept the package. I had been hopeful that they would have good customer service but clearly after reading all the other complaints...this is not how they do business. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company who has already issued my return. So now if Cell Hut wants their phone back they can send me a prepaid UPS slip to send the phone back to them. I will never do business with this company again...what a joke."

"Good deals and pretty low prices make this a website to beat. I needed a cool Motorola device and got one within a couple days of my order. This place sure is fast. Took a long time to get to the customer service line, but other than that, it was ok."

"This site is nothing but a scam and I'm worried about them having my credit card number. I placed an order two weeks ago and it still says "On Hold." I tried emailing AND calling the company, and no one will respond to me; emails are ignored, and MOST of the time when you try to call, it's busy...when you do happen to get through, they blatantly lie to you, saying it will ship out the next day (I've been told this twice now).

"The phone, a Motorola Razr2 v8, came with a European 220v charger with a 110 v adapter, which didn't work. Cellhut referred me to Motorola, and they did send me a US charger. Then the micro USB port cover fell off, exposing a sharp point, and when I contacted Motola they said that since the phone wasn't US made they wouldn't cover it, and they referred me to Cellhut, which according to their written Terms of Sale Policy will deny reponsibility. This is typical of Cellhut. I've found them difficult to deal with. The Cellhut rep said when I first called about the charger that all their phones are European, yet it doesn't say that anywhere on the site that I can find; plus, some of the phones are advertised as being European, which logically means that those not marked so aren't... (right?)

Bottom line: verify the origin of the phone to make sure who'll cover what, etc.

"I found a promotion at cellhut.com for some small accessories for iPods and cell phones. The order came through smoothly. But in two days I received an e-mail from cellhut.com canceling my orders with some vague explanation -- something like "insufficient information to process the order". My guess is that they received too many orders that they were not able to fulfill. In my view it is a very doubtful way to do business -- to lure customers to their web site and then just to cancel their orders. Based on my experience I would not recommend this retailer unless you want to waste a lot of time with indefinite result. "

"DON'T BUY! AVOID!!!

Ordered phone on 10/17/09, showed in stock. Was in 'processing' for a week. Called and canceled the order, got charged the same day! And the phone wasn't even shipped. Called for refund, exactly 8 times. 2 times waited for 30 min to an hour and didn't get through. other 6 times got the same response each time, 'refund processed now, will get within 48 hours'! Still didn't get it! (11/23/09) Guess will how to try through my credit card company and dispute the charge.

"AVOID at all costs!!! Ordered Samsung e590 on 9/22, the status showed "Your Order is In Process and Ready to be Shipped" until 10/7 when my Visa was charged and it changed to "Raedi to ship". Nothing was shipped, call'em up, was told it was a mistake, they expect it in 2 days. Ever since was waiting for it. Didn't get replies to my e-mail. Finally, on 11/19 after being on hold for 1 hr 5 min send them e-mail to cancel, as there is no way to do it on their site. Not trusting Cellhut, called my Visa and disputed the charge, letting Visa deal with them. How can Cellhut stay in business behaving like that? TW, the site still shows black E590 as "in stock". Unbelievable! "

"oh my gosh ...i just placed my order on Thursday 11/5/2009. I think cellhut.com is a good company, after i call customer service to change my order, their behave very bad, i think they just want to get the money from customer because after i placed my order i called customer service to change the color( i want white unlocked iphone but on the website they do not let customer to choose the color), she told me that cellhut do not sell iphone anymore. So, what the hell like that?if unlocked iphone out of stock, i need to refund to my account.I will sue cellhut company, why they charge me 750 bucks for iphone with bad services and nothing to stastified. The emplyee treated me like i am a servant.If i lost $750, i do not care anything, i promise that i will put the cellhut's owner in jail. I will do whatever i can to stop stealing the money from customers like me. I swear."

"Ordered an out-of-stock cell phone by telephone, was told would be in stock in about 1 week. Called back a week later, they said phone came in stock yesterday and will ship tonight. Didn't receive shipping confirmation, called back 3 days later and was told phone is out of stock and should be in next week. I complained that I had called 3 days earlier and been told phone was in stock and was going to ship that day, to which the person I was speaking had no answer. Canceled order.
UPDATE: To make matters worse I just found out they charged my credit card for the phone they never shipped!! I will never use CellHut.com again.
ANOTHER UPDATE: Tried calling them to get the charge reversed, tried 3 times at their phone number from their web site and no answer! Let it ring at least 30 times.

"Never ever buy anything from these guys. At the very least do a thorough Google search before doing so. They said they had the phone I wanted so I placed an order, they went ahead and charged my card immediately. After 3 days the "in-stock" order had not shipped so I called to find out. Calling is a nightmare, they keep you on hold for 20 minutes and then drop you just as someone picks up, so you go through the routine again. 3 hrs later I finally got through and was told the phone was not in stock and they were waiting for it to come. I canceled the order and got a confirmation email. 3 weeks later there still is no refund despite numerous emails. An internet search shows this is a common practice for these guys - they charge your card right away, do not ship you merchandise or ship you defective merchandise and then avoid refunding your money. I am grateful I used a credit card, I can't imagine if I had made a bank transfer. I bought the same phone from N1Wireless 2 days later, no problems, totally smooth transaction. The only way Cellhut can survive is by fleecing people like me who were unaware, I hope those numbers dwindle and this pathetic excuse of a business folds up."

"This company customer service is horrible.Im currently trying to cancel my order because of the lack of involvement they have had with me as a customer. They are the MOST untruthful company I have had to deal with. When I ordered my phone it clearly said "orders place before 12 pm will be shipped out same day"...I went and got my work check THAT morning so I could do that...ordered my phone at 10 o clock and order did not ship...even better its tuesday and my order status still says in process. The money is still in my account so if I can actually get them on the phone then I will be canceling my order immediately..I want nothing to do with such a shady company"
