"If you expect quality customer service - SHOP ELSEWHERE! Could not be less satisfied with customer service in attempting to return an item that was not as advertised. I ordered the 5.11 Tactical 2 Point Sling. When I viewed this item on the
website, the picture showed the sling on a rifle with a non-collapsible stock, which is the reason I ordered this item, as it fit my specific requirements. Nowhere in the lengthy item description does it state that this item requires an adapter to use as depicted. Additionally, with many of the other items on the website, there is a disclaimer with the item photos stating "Picture displayed may not represent the actual product". This was not annotated with the 5.11 Sling.
The rep from returns was unable to assist me, and referred me back to the generic ****@**** email, which started me over in the process. I have made two calls, left messages, and I have sent no less than 5 emails stating I would appreciate a customer service manager contacting me in order to work out a resolution to this issue.
At 8:37 pm last night I finally received a reply telling me to return the sling as I ordered the wrong one. I replied this morning stating their synopsis of the sling issue was inaccurate, which is why I wanted to TALK
to a manager rather than continue to send emails. Bottom line -The sling I purchased does not perform as advertised and I would either like Cals Sporting Armory to send me the necessary adapter so it will work as shown on their website, or provide a complete refund.
I do not wish to pay a "restocking fee" for receiving a product that was not what was depicted on the website.
I have provided my phone number several times, but apparently speaking to an actual person, is outside their scope of customer service. I must admit the company does offer quality products at a very reasonable price, but the customer service has nothing to do with customer satisfaction.

"I made the purchase on Sept 5 and it shipped on Sept 9. Less than stellar handling times. The product arrived a while after because UPS is incredibly slow but that is not Cals Sporting Armory's fault. The order processed fine and I got my package. Enough said.

I would like to see USPS available as a standard service. UPS is just slow all around.

"Ordered scope said 1 instock. Found out later its was backordered. Cancelled order due to company not being able to tell me due date. After cancelling order got email saying it was instock. Still waiting for credit card refund. They are quick to draft money but slow to send it back!!!! 5 days and still waiting!!! Dont think you could pay me to do business with this company again. They had best price but couldn't deliver. See emails below:

it will take 3-5 business days for the voided transaction to reflect back onto the account.

Great products and prices- but I do not care for Cals mandated "signature required" delivery with FedEx ground, and their extra "handling charges". A required signature should be an option for me to select if I want it that way.

My first order from Cals was delivered promptly and left when I wasn't home to sign for it, so I thought it would be OK to order again. This time, I also wasn't home (at 3:11 pm) to sign for it and FedEx made it a "delivery exception" and the driver held it. It's now been a week since I ordered, and I still don't have my delivery which has been floating around in town with FedEx Ground since 09/01/11. This will probably keep me from ordering again... real shame.

The email Cals sent to me personally wasn't at all the same tone that you see in their comment below. The email to me was summed up by the following comment (I quote):

"Order Comments: 9/8/2011 - Customer no longer agrees with terms & conditions of sale. Customer does not want to have to sign for shipments. Customer account has been closed."

Really? Once again, Cals decides to think for it's customers.
